After working in the rental industry for 15 years in the Washington DC area, I can tell you this community has some of the most stringent application guidelines I have ever seen in my 42 years, regarding simply applying. They are not easy and they are not looking for ways to help you! I have never been so unimpressed by customer service skills. They truly did not care if I rented. FYI, should you choose to put in an application , You must pay an app fee, $400 security deposit, along w/ numerous online processing fees and app fee just to apply! It’s costly. They did that on purpose. This is not until community… if you don’t get approved, you do not get solely security deposit refunded for at least 2wk to a 1 month. Depends on the time of the month and their accounting cycle! This can really mess you! If you don’t get approved, while you’re looking for another place, your already short $500 so must have $$$$. They are looking for a certain type of person to rent and I feel as if trying to gentrify the Argenta neighborhood into something it’s not! Even w/ great income, avg credit score, and a cosigner that makes >$200,000/yr and owns home/car/pensions/401k/investment accounts and holds a position appointed directly by the governor of state, she was not good enough for them. I would not waste my time on this community. This company who seems to think they are above and beyond the normal renters reproach. I highly recommend you look elsewhere even though the product looks nice. When communicating w/ office staff & vibe is way off, but the office smells delicious…never good sign. I worked directly w/ Ryan the property manager. I love to make people smile and it was hard to get any kind of expression from her. She made it seem as though I annoyed her by making her get out of her chair that she was doing absolutely nothing in! I was only customer. I also asked for the corporate headquarters contact info to discuss concerns that I have re:fair housing and was told that I could call them. They simply did NOT care!! I asked very kindly, if could pass along a message to superior to contact me in regards to concerns. Never heard a word!! Not impressed, whatsoever. I had the ability to afford, solid credit, stable job x8yrs fed govt. I really loved to the community but it was the lackluster service and the look of “do I really have to answer her questions?!” that got me! It was like it burden them, that I even asked them to do their job and I had industry knowledge so made me feel stupid!! Good luck! I’m still waiting on Regional Manager call me back!

I toured a 1 bedroom/1bathroom I'm early July then I decided to move here. The application process was easy and I was able to pay online. The movie process was simple. I like that I was given an electronic key. The apartment I was given was clean and looked exactly like the model apartment I was shown. I have been here for 2 months now and I love living downtown and being within walking distance to restaurants. I have had two maintenance requests and they were completed promptly. The staff here is nice.

Lived here 5 years, only disabled apt in building, disabled parking right outside the window. Have had to fight to use it. They called in 2 college frat bros to block the spot with stolen disabled placards, their own employees PARTICIPATED in denying my use. They REFUSED to honor their policy of nonresidents being towed & allowed out of state (Texas) visitors to violate. They LOST a price gouging case I filed last year. The discrimination continues with wet furniture in dumpster for MONTHS, current manager refuses to spray for bugs, maintenance only jury rigs things, rarely FIXES them. Huge cop presence here about a month ago. I call it NASTY FLATS. Not sure why but there were multiple marked units, detectives & there's been surveillance, I believe. This is NOT the nice place I thought it was & my health won't allow me to move. IF I move, it'll be when I'M ready, not when current management wants me to. Have been in contact with Attorney General's office & getting other help. Want to point out that the mattress & couch have been there about 2 months, being rained on. The matching loveseat & other wet furniture 2 ft from my patio & Arkansas has HUMID summers. Want to guess what's breeding in all this? DOES THIS ABLE BODIED MALE LOOK DISABLED? Must point out that ARGENTA FLATS lost a price gouging complaint I filed against them & that these incidents of not enforcing or SELECTIVELY enforcing their own rules are MANY incidents of retaliation. They are guilty of multiple acts of retaliation against a disabled senior veteran. Says q great deal about the level of professionalism here at ARGENTA FLATS. When I moved in 5 years ago, didn't think this would be 4 ft from my patio most of the time. That furniture has been there for months, is infested & appears to be growing mold. 1November 2022. Police just ran off a man for crashing on the mattress that's been in the alley for months. Neighbor alerted the office, cops called. Been waiting for this to happen. Weather is starting to get cold so the mattress will be used by area homeless people again...as infested as it is, along with the loveseat & other furniture left in the dumpster for months. Neither Nasty Flats management or City Code Enforcement seem inclined to clean this up. Maintenance guy refuses to try to move this heavy junk alone & says no one will help him. So.....?? ??️?️ ????? Mold growing on the couch left in the dumpster a few feet from my patio. Photo taken & posted just a few days before my 69th birthday - living next to a mold & bug infested couch NASTY FLATS refuses to move. 9 November 2022. Office just called me. They want me to lift empty cardboard boxes into the dumpster after several months of leaving moldy trash. I have refused because this is more retaliation for losing the price gouging complaint. I told them nice try because they now think they will charge me.9 November. Management just told me I'm being charged a fee for 3 large cardboard boxes I couldn't get into the dumpsters because access was blocked by trash & rotting furniture. Other people piled their trash on top of mine & it's wet now.....again. I told her the fee would not be paid. I've also contacted the Attorney General's office for copies of their decision when NASTY FLATS lost a price gouging case I filed against them. Will be filing ADA violations against them as well. They are very well aware I'm 69 & waiting on a heart procedure to treat 3 heart blockages. / As expected, per 5 years previous experience, several able bodied people violated the disabled parking again. Appear to be rent a cops. White car, AR tags ADY 33G. After a year, the moldy infested furniture was removed from the dumpster & alley. Maintenance guy "assisted" by guy in uniform. Few days later, another mattress was left beside the dumpster, blocking wheelchair access. It's already rained on & this place looks more like a dump every day. ARGENTA

Cars get broken in to and apartments get broken into constantly, and management has yet to do anything to help with the situation. Several calls have been made and no action has been taken. I would not recommend living here. Ever.

A beautiful place to call home. Peaceful neighbors that are always so kind. There are several military families, young couples with children, and professional career women and men that reside here. The interior and exterior is unmatched in this area.I am grateful to be a part of Argenta Historic District and Argenta Flats.

Horrible. The management is the worst. I’ve called and no one has answered and walked over there and the manager be sitting at their desk. This place is a joke. I’ve lived here now for 2 years and in that amount of time they have not only have had three different property managers here they also keep changing the rules. Seems like they create a new rule every other week and then take one away. The pool is either closed or too many people are there. The pool can fit 4 adults comfortably. The dog park is a joke. The area after dark is sketchy. The area is not kept up and if something breaks in the apartment or needs repair they halfway fix it. I suggest that you don’t choose this over priced small apartment. There are plenty other apartments closer with a lot more bang for your buck and that’s probably ran better! Two stars only because I feel bad for this place or I would do one.

I would have lived in Argenta Flats forever because of Hannah the property manager. She has always been great at solving issues for me and even after I am no longer a resident shes been super helpful. I really hate dealing with leasing agents but Hannah is a rockstar!!!!

The staff at Argenta Flats is AMAZING! We have several furnished apartments through Arkansas Suites and are always on top of taking care of our guests. They are kind, knowledgeable, and caring. The community is also in a great location near some amazing restaurants. I would highly recommend to anyone.-- Sean Bass (Apartment Hunters and Arkansas Suites)
