We only stayed for a short time, but I could see easily spending a full day here! We sluiced loaded buckets and came away with lots of pretty polished gemstones and a tiny little diamond!?
Lots of beautiful Indian items and rocks for sale in the shop.
There is a field in the back where you can hunt for arrowheads and crystals, as well as an area to do metal detecting for planted coins for prizes.
Very fun activity for the whole family!

A wonderful family experience! My wife and I had a great time touring the museum and burial mounds. She found another arrow head and some pottery shards out in the field. The buckets with the guaranteed diamond was the most
fun of all.

Absolutely the most wonderful place. The Employees were the BEST. I can not thank you enough for your kindness and helping make my nephews day!! He had a blast (even if he did leave with more dirt on him than in the field ❤️) If you have little ones excited to dig and find treasures this is definitely the place to go!!!! Better for young kids than the Creator of Diamonds by far and much cheaper with a much better experience!!!

Another tourist attraction that is over hyped. This is an archaeological site , but trying to tap into the diamond mining of the crater. Lots of souvenirs from other countries not native Americans. This could be a great place and for the amount of a tour it should be. But they miss the mark . The digging field should be plowed weekly not every month .

We had a great time! I see some negative reviews but we can’t complain. Staff was very friendly. We knew the search area was “seeded” but it was still a lot fun. We were the last people there but still found an replica arrowhead. We also found a period scraper blade and lots of crystals. If you can’t find anything, you aren’t looking hard enough or don’t know what your looking for.

Amazeballs ? lots of Indian history. Almost overwhelming. Very well done artifact cases. I feel as if the Indians could use a glass case over their hole, just saying. There is some messed-up people out there. But all the artifacts are pretty much been pulled out of here.Spent quite a while, found some broken arrow heads and pottery, still a good time and the owner was a sweetheart ❤️

We stopped here during our Murfreesboro vacation. Very interesting history to learn about and museum to walk through with the historic mounds outside.
We spent about an hour searching the field they have. We were able to find some cool things. Tons of tiny crystals and colorful rocks. We were even able to find 6 arrow heads out in the field.
Of course we did the Gemstone Adventure. With a medium sized bucket the kids were able to find plenty of polished gemstones and handful of shark teeth. The shop also has tons of treasures to buy before you leave.
It was a nice stop for the kids to be able to actually find something searching through the dirt.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We've been to Murfreesboro for 2 years in a row and we've gone here both times. This is a good place to visit and I think if you get a chance. Give it a shot. There are plenty of things to look at and there are also plenty of things to do like surface hunting for crystals and possible aero heads. There are also error heads that they throw in there for the kitties. Just in case they don't find any real ones. They will find some real made ones that are a little more modern.

For the price of admittance, it was pretty cool. There are three main burial mounds areas which you could easily work through in about twenty minutes. It was neat seeing the skeletons! The kids walked through the museum area in about 7 minutes, but they weren't very interested in ancient pottery and tools.I personally had no interest in digging in the dirt or metal detecting after 2.5 days at the diamond mines, so we didn't do that for long.Honestly, the shop was the coolest part, side from seeing the skeletons in the burial mounds. My wife grabbed some cut quartz earrings (much cheaper than diamonds and just as pretty), and the kids got some rock candy and trinkets. They have tons of gems and stones for sale.I really wish we would have come here before the diamond mines so we would have had a better idea of what to look for when we were sifting through all of our material. They have some of the diamonds found from the mine on display.

Ka-Do-Ha came recommended on Google. It was a worthwhile few hours. You can dig on the site, which was great prep for the crater. The people working there are sincerely kind. There's not a lot to it, but the digs are something else. Other native American museums are all displays. Seeing replicas and artifacts as they would have been found is just a timeless experience. Worth the price of admission for sure.
