We love Dr. Nixon. Great care for a reasonable price. He's always very honest about he if can or cannot actually make a difference with the treatment available. Personally, I appreciate this.

The doctor misdiagnosed my family's cat even though we took her to him 3 times in a 2 week period. As a result she died hours after he told us to take her home and he said she will be fine. Idk if he's that incompetent or he was in a hurry to start his vacation, but she suffered an agonizing death and she was only 1 year old.

Amazing vet services, I used them for ear cropping, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Everyone in there is happy and excited to be there and loves animals. They are very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. I was recommended to Nixon by a friend, and I will always suggest dr Nixon from now on. It was a great experience. They loved on my puppy each time he came through their doors.(Pictures one week after ear cropping surgery)

He's older but not incompetent he was friendly straight to the point and made what I feel was a great decision regarding my dog. His pricing is more than fair and reasonable. I will see him again.

I'm new to Arkansas and a friend told me Nixon Animal Hospital is a great veterinary clinic to go to. They were right! Very happy with the care my pets received there. Years ago I worked as a veterinary assistant so I have a fair idea how things work and I have to say I'm very impressed.

They are kind and gentle with the animals. They saved me money by contacting California vet and got his history, thus we didn't have to redo all the tests and X-rays. They gave him some meds and encouraged me as well as my 12 yr old chihuahua.

This place has saved my animals more times than I can say. Never had an issue.If you want someone who knows what they are doing or who will be completely honest with you.Nixon is a man who knows what the issues are and how to fix them. Also, they have adorable therapy dogs that walk around and will love on you if you want them to.

I had an appointment for 2pm in the afternoon. I arrived at 1:50pm and saw a closed sign, they didn't bother to call and cancel my appointment, or reschedule with me. I went to a better vet, one who actually kept his appointment. I could not beleive that they couldn't even give me a courtesy call. Not good business at all.

Dr. Nixon was amazing! My foal injured himself and we had to take him up here. They were friendly knowledgeable and fit us in. My horse was treated kindly and I wasn’t changed the cost of a new car to get him seen. Will definitely be returning.

I love the staff- I’m grateful for the air conditioned waiting room! But the staff- so extremely kind, very helpful, genuinely care. Dr Nixon is hands down a fantastic vet and all around great guy or at least presents that way and his staff loves him so I believe that says allot. He is better than fair priced, knows and clearly cares for *my* pet which is such an amazing thing as he has many patients from what I could see and cares for each of them as if they were his own. That’s the impression I’m left with after seeing him a few times for a dental on my ten year old female pug. The dental was one awesome appointment- the dental experience was top notch service, extremely affordable, entire thing was clock-work level punctual, effective cleaning, no issues just compliments since that visit that left my baby better! (All visits have)My previous visits were work ins- the same ten year old pug, Annie, was mauled twice by a semi feral neighbor dog when I moved here. It was so scary, but Nixon animal clinic helped heal my pet and also me- the trauma was real for Annie and I both! I’d hire Dr. Nixon for my care too if only humans were within his scope. The techs are knowledgeable and compassionate- like not book smart, but experienced, self assured, efficient, kind- the world needs to clone this man and his staff as they are clearly doing many, many things right. The entire atmosphere of the place- from pet patient & pet owner to staff & on- is one of love, genuine care & compassion for the community and individuals within it, fur - feather - claw & hoof included. Hope that makes sense as I know I just don’t have the words to do this place justice. I’m just lucky to call them my vet. You will be too ?

Dr Nixon is a really good bet he's cared for all of our animals from really for years he's also a really good friend to have I used to be a branscum and Glenn my father-in-law was a good friend to him as well as my dead husband Gale
