“Had a 25% off coupon so picked up a 9500 lb winch. I live 1 hour from my closest store so called to make sure they had one. They had it waiting for me when I arrived and loaded it into my vehicle. They also love my dog”

“This Ace Hardware store is seriously impressive. It's the cleanest one I've ever seen and the staff is super helpful. I barely had to lift a finger because they kept checking in to see if I needed anything. Plus, they've got so much stuff packed into this store, it's like a DIY paradise.”

“Great salesperson Ashley in appliances. Great delivery drivers to bring our washer and dryer. Wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. However, the first washer had to be replaced because of a faulty drum and drainage. And the replacement washer has lost the alarm sounds. Faulty equipment so the manufacturer will get notice from me.”

“Needed some Plywood cut for shelves. After paying for a sheet they cut it down so that I could make shelves at the house. Highly recommended hardware and building store. I will be back. The rest I called would no accommodate my need. That includes Lowes and Meeks.”

“We usually find everything we need for building projects at Home Depot. The store is well-stocked with a wide range of materials, making it our go-to for most of our construction needs. However, it's worth noting that sometimes their prices are higher than other stores in the area, so it pays to shop around for the best deals.

The staff is always helpful, but there are times when it can be challenging to find someone from a specific department. This is especially true in the flooring and paint sections, where it seems like the only available help is from employees who don't specialize in those areas. Despite their efforts, the assistance they can provide is often limited.

Parking is plentiful, but the lot lacks shade, which can be a drawback on hot days. For those looking to purchase lumber, it's best to visit early in the day. Later on, and especially on weekends, the aisles can be cluttered with obstacles as they prepare online orders, which can be quite frustrating.

Home Depot's rewards and military discounts are a nice bonus, but they don't stretch as far as they used to given the current inflationary pressures. Overall, Home Depot remains a solid choice for building supplies, but it's important to plan your visit and compare prices to get the best value.”

“Normally, I am not a fan of the big box store. But Lowe's and I go way back. I have had rental properties and visited Lowe's quite frequently. Lowe'shas finally come out of the dark ages of the blue screen computers and now the self checkout is quite convenient. Even for things like the military discount. My most recent trip was Sunday night. I showed up at 737 with only 23 minutes to shop for a plumbing project I hadn't even completely mapped out in my mind..There was a gentlemen employee in plumbing who helped me out. He was patient with my figuring out what I needed and helped me get it all. I was checked out by 802. Lowe's has a lot of very helpful employees. But I have noticed that there really isn't a middle of the road..if you don't get one of the majority of the great employees...you are on your own!”
