We shop at the Big Lots in Mountain Home, AR regularly. We're also rewards members and take advantage of all the coupons and specials available. Generally, we have 2 coupons at the same time with a special sale going on. This was my birthday month, and we had a total of 3 coupons and a special sale with its own coupon. We saved over a hundred and fifty dollars during that shopping trip and got some things we have been wanting for a while. Great selection and prices. Our kitty ? loves when we going shopping ? there.

I can see these stores are struggling. Nothing bad about them but they simply cannot compete and see them going out of biz in a few years.
Think Amazon should buy them out.

Hard to get someone to help you back in furniture I sat back there for 30 minutes cash in hand to purchase a couch no one not once asked me if I needed help then when I went to the check to purchase my other stuff the cashier ask if I found everything alright ? I told her , yes I found it but just could find anyone to help me . Her reply was , " Oh" and handed me my change. SMH

Was in West Plains, MO. Store, looking for a chair for myself and for my wife, I bought a chair for my wife at that location, but didn't have one in stock in what I wanted, they called Mountain home AR, store to see if they had one still since their inventory showed they did, the sales clerk called at West Plains called the Mountain Home store to make sure they STILL had the chair in stock while we stood at the counter and who ever she talked to at Mountain Home told her ,yes they did have one their instock, we left West Plains and went straight to Mountain Home to pickup the chair, only to be told that they have been out of stock on that chair for a long time , So, when you drive a hour to pickup a item, after confirming they have it in stock, I expect to see one there,

Fair amount of merchandise. Not worth the trip. The prices were the same or higher than any other retail store.
