Extremely caring and helpful staff. My sister in law's dog was hurt while on vacation and this place was very accommodating! They were able to diagnose the problem and sent us on our way.

This place totally ripped us off. We took our dog here because he had a cough and we thought he had heartworms. They charged us over $400 to draw blood do an x ray and schedule us for another visit. No heartworm test. Second visit almost $500 and all they did was clean his ears and examine his teeth and tell me he needs teeth pulled and scheduled a third visit. Thurd visit over $600 and they pulled teeth and still no heartworm test. Told me they were going to schedule another visit. I told them to go eff themselves. When it all started my dog was coughing all the time, was barely getting up and doing anything. It seemed like he was going to die soon. After all that he was still doing all that same stuff only now he had clean ears and less teeth. We took him to a vet in mountain view and they immediately did a heartworm test that came back negative so they did x ray and discovered he has congestive heart failure. They have me meds to get the fluid off of his heart. Cleaned his ears and only charged me $156. It's now a week later and my dog is getting much more active and kind of playful again. He is coughing way less than he was. And he genuinely seems like he's getting better. I should mention he's a fifteen year old toy poodle. And thanks to the animal hospital in mountain view I think he's gonna be with us for quite a while longer. Point of this review is don't take your pet to this vet. Sure they smile and they're nice. But while they're smiling they've got their hand in your pocket talking your money and over charging for their mediocre services. Animal hospital in mountain view honestly cares for your pets health and they were much friendlier and informative. Avoid this animal health center at all costs. Your pocket book will thank you.

The staff is attentive and has a genuine love of animals. Their care is prompt and thorough. The facility is clean and parking is ample. Pricing is commensurate with other animal clinics in the area.

Call 15 mins before closing, asking a simple question - how much their heartworm prevention medicine costs. Easy to answer. Tells me to call back Monday because they are not accepting calls from new customers. Great, I'm never going to be your customer. Good job. ?

We needed to get help for our big boy Maxx. He had been ill before and we spent close to ten thousand getting him better and we got to have him for 4 more years. Unfortunately, it was late Sunday night and he needed to rest. We called for an emergency vet and Animal Health came to our rescue. Maxx is now with his angel buddies and has no pain. Animal Health Center in Mountain Home is THE best place to have ur beloved companions cared for.

I have been taking my pets here for 11 years and have always been very pleased with the staff and service. Everyone is always so kind towards their clients and their pets. I recently had an emergency with my little one and rushed in. I want to say a very special Thank You to Rachel and Dr. Neis for helping us! Rachel is so great with everyone's pets and Dr. Neis is very thorough, and figures out exactly what the issues are. Sam was wonderful to work with, all weekend, and so sweet to my little one. I had to make multiple visits. And lastly, a mention to Jen, whom I have known for years, and has always treated my pet with kindness. Thank you all for the fantastic service!

Animal Health Center performed a surgery on my dog. The staff are all friendly and welcoming (I am new there). The charged price was reasonable and the time from setting the appointment to surgery day was very short and much appreciated, considering I would have had to wait around two weeks to get in at other offices. The clinic reception area and visit rooms are clean and do not stink each time I go in. Making the decision to put the safety and care of my dog into the vet and staff at Animal Health Clinic in Mountain Home, AR has proven to be a good decision thus far.

I had a service dog put to sleep and a private cremation done through AHC on July 5th 2022. The ashes I received were not the right amount for the weight and size of my dog. We went in and asked to meet with the manager and showed her a few other dogs ashes that weigh the right amount from three other cremation services. This was proof there was a mistake. The manager then admitted it was short but we should believe that we at least got some of our dog back. She then was very eager to send our records to another vet without us mentioning going anywhere else. I told her the vet we have there was great and so was the staff. I have to put my dogs health above my feelings. She seemed to agree. Now today Sept 12th 2022 my wife called to get my other service dog in due to possible infected anal glands. Suffered since Saturday waiting for Monday to call in. We learned we are not welcome back even if I remove a review about the ashes problem. That review even said how we are staying with AHC as our vet due to the quality of care and the staff. I begged to have my dog cared for but they are not willing to do so. All communications regarding any uncomfortable situations were always very polite. There are no reasons to deny services other than us telling the truth about a very sad situation. We would like to have AHC see our dog Marley and move on from the ashes incident. If they won't, we want a formal complaint on file for this problem.
