The law states that anyone appearing under age 30 can b carded for cigarettes. Your policy of ' no id , no cigarettes' just cost you a customer that spends thousands in that store, a gray haired local factory worker.. way over 30. This whole cooperation is a chinese joke. Woke=Broke

You need to hire a secret shopper and see how your employees treat paying customers. It would kill them to check anyone out. The force everyone into using self checkout and when you ask for help it's like pulling teeth. They do not greet you or thank you for coming in. When we needed a bag of ice and were forced into self checkout there was no barcode to purchase ice. We then see the employee in the isle and she can see we are struggling but we had to ask for her help and she acted extremely annoyed and said rudely shoulted there is a Barcode at the register. There was not. So she went back to what she was doing and I once again let her know there was not a barcode she went over and found the one behind the other checkout counter and instead of checking us out seeing that we were struggling walked off again. No niceness what so ever. We accidently scanned the barcode twice because it was just a barcode for small ice and large ice taped together and the girl had then walked off. So then we see another employee walk from the office where she was sitting on her phone and come up and we ask her for help. Once again she was rude as well. If you hired a secret shopper you would be able to see how they treat their customers as this has not been the only time I've had this experience. It is every time. And your receipts at this location do not have survey options listed on them so I googled to find this survey. I have always been a fan of dollar general but it seems now there is self check the employees think they do not have to help customers at the Midway location. There is multiple DG near us and this one I dread going to because of the rude employees every time. Does no one train them in friendliness? Horrible experience. If I could rate this store on friendliness it would be negative 10 our of 10. Please look into this store as I know I am not the only one to experience your incredibly rude employees at the midway location.

On Nov 1, 2022- a DG delivery truck came down my residential street, hooked the top of his truck on my electric and internet wires, kept driving, pulling the wires taught and then eventually snapping them sending them arching down to the ground almost catching the dry fall leaves on fire and just missing somebody in my yard by inches! The driver never stopped. This is a hit and run. I have photos of damage and a police report including testimony of witnesses!! It has resulted in an $1100 electrician bill, a week of lost wages, a damaged roof, and now months of headache. I am now having to start making payments on this bill since DG is not taking responsibility. This money is literally taking food out of my daughter's mouth! I am a single mama in a small town - this is absolutely unacceptable. I will be contacting lawyers and media next! This is not an upstanding company to support even though they monopolize small towns!!!

The shelves are never stocked. I get there's a distribution problem but, most the items are still in boxes on carts. They definitely need more employees there. Between cashiering and sticking they don't have enough time to get things done. The location is convenient just don't expect to go in and get what you want.

Regularly smells like weed in the morning, which I don't usually mind. However when the opening employee is clearly present because thier car is there, and they don't open on time, it makes one wonder about the ability to perform. Myself and multiple people waited outside the store well past opening time, and finally gave up and left.
