I would not suggest staying in this hotel. Teenager had a separate room from me and was infested with roaches. Breakfast appeared to be steal. Pool is nasty. My room had broken shades. We had to move rooms twice. If I had not prepaid for these rooms. I would have left immediately.

Good hometown honest business. Staff was friendly and efficient. I hope to never have another flat tire in Marion, AR., but will go back here if I do.

I pulled into this shop because I had an emergency on the interstate wheel bearing go out and my wheel was barley on. They was very friendly and honest gave me a receipt for parts with the receipt for work done. A quarter of a mile from auto zone getting parts was very quick. They worked into after hours and was friendly the whole time. Very happy I pulled into this place.

My Name is Sharon Harris and I am from Fordoche LA. My daughter in law and grand daughter was on their way down I-55 on Oct. 11th 2018 and their muffler came apart, she drug it until she found the exit to get off and go to Mcdowell Auto Service, this was very early in the morning. I called the gentleman and asked if he could please get them fixed and on the road. Let me tell you, this man went ABOVE and BEYOND to help them. He not only fixed the car, but bought my daughter in law and my grand daughter breakfast. This man/ business is something you NEVER see anymore. He said he helps people and that is how he gets his blessings.. I will never forget what he has done and if there is anything I can do to help bring his blessing to him everyday I would. When anyone goes thru Marion AR. Please stop by and see this man and shake his hand. He is an Angel for sure. THANK YOU Mr. Melvin for looking out for my Family. God Bless Sharon Harris

My name is AL Lock, from Hopkinsville, Kentucky...this past Thursday May 24 2018. My driver and my daughter (his girlfriend) were on their way to the Houston Texas area to deliver a tank used in the oil fields to a company in Brookshire, Texas. Going there via I55, passing Marion Arkansas at exit 10, they had a blowout...I contacted Melvin Mcdowell and he diligently searched for a tire...spent a lot of time and energy trying to help them resolve the tire issue...after the tire issue was resolved and my people were on the road several miles into the trip by this time on I-40 west, they had serious problems...Melvin Mcdowell (the owner) went to them, got them off the road, and safely into a motel...then the next day assisted them in getting back to his shop, and then, went far way above and beyond expectations in helping them to find the part needed, even to the point of driving over 100 miles one way to meet myself so he could have the correct part to do the repair. He then worked diligently until after midnight to get my driver back on the road...I have never experience a better, more honest, and proficient not only as a person, but as a repair shop...it was at time frustrating due to happenings by parts store, that was out of the shops control. He treated us with utmost respect and I cannot thank him enough...his price was below what was expected and service and kindness exceeds all...I recommend this business to anyone in need of real people offering real service....

After telling him the rear shock was rattling he found a loose bolt and tightened it. No new parts. Took less than 10 minutes. $35 diagnostic fee plus $55 labor. As a bonus he checked the other shock. Wow, just wow.
