I came to State Farm from Progressive and saved about $700/yr. They also have fantastic customer service and are very prompt in getting back to their customers. I haven't had to file any claims yet, but I don't doubt that Kevin and his team will help when the need arises!

State Farm is a top notch insurance company. Unfortunately, I am no longer sharing a home with another senior and needed less expensive auto/renter's insurance. Sadly, Progressive was recommended and an agent signed me up. As all seniors know SSA determines when you get paid and rarely is payday on the first of the month. Mine is more the middle of the month, but Progressive demanded they be able to take my payment out of my bank on the first. No can do, I had to find another company and couldn't be State Farm because they "blacklisted" me for six months as it was obvious I was "shopping" for insurance. I am now very happy with GEICO. Having been driven into this past Monday, I found out from my dealership, State Farm and GEICO are both good companies, Progressive is at the second from the bottom for non-reputable companies. Dogged that bullet!!
