I joined WRCF 3 months ago, it has changed my life for the best. I was pretty bored with lifting alone at the gym. I have learned to love crossfit ❤️.As a beginner I received a ton of patience and understanding from my coaches, kudos to Blu, Smitty, and Kent. They took the time to walk me through the moves over, and over again until I get them right. I feel supported and encouraged by everyone and see myself as a permanent member for many years to come.

I had never done CrossFit before coming to WRCF, and I couldn't be happier with this community! The facilities are well-maintained with a wide variety of equipment. The coaches and staff are attentive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The members are so welcoming- it's really like a family. The best part is that, as a beginner, I never felt judged or excluded- in fact, the community takes pride and joy in helping people uncover new skills and habits on individual fitness journeys.

I have been going there for about a year and half and had a wonderful experience compared to my last CrossFit gym. The owner and coaches are wonderful and some of the nicest people you will meet. There is a workout for every level and everyone. My fitness level has improved since going there. The gym environment is very welcoming and supportive. Overall I think this is the best CrossFit gym in Little Rock central AR area. The facility is also nice, very clean gym, bathroom and showers. The price is affordable and much cheaper than other CrossFit gyms in the area.

This is a long review, read at your own discretion haha.I was hesitant to join at first, it was scary to try something so new that was way outside of my comfort zone. I had also heard many rumors and stereotypes in regard to CrossFit (I.e. it’s a great way to injure yourself, people who do CrossFit are arrogant, the movements are half a**- such the Kipping butterfly pull-up, it’s expensive, etc). Despite my predispositions, my old powerlifting buddy and countless friends- who happen to have been CrossFit fans- convinced me to try it out for a free week. I have loved it and have been here since I think November now.It was a great way to spice up my fitness journey after being in the same boring routine for too long at the gym. I am a big fan of cross-training, learning new things, challenging oneself, and of working out with other individuals as community… this has helped me do exactly that.I enjoy that there is a combination of HIIT, calisthenics/gymnastics, strength, dynamic stretching before and after the workouts, and even Olympic lifting. It keeps things interesting and challenges me to focus on the things I struggle, rather than just my specific strengths in fitness. And, yes, all movements are legit… not only are they harder than they look, but they all have a specific purpose behind them. Each workout is methodically planned to challenge/work your body in different ways. I highly suggest your research these workouts before doing them and ask the coaches the ‘why’ behind them, not just the ‘how’.These workouts are time efficient and challenging, but fear not, they have many ways to scale so you don’t injure yourself. I am happy to report that they stress using correct form and rest just as they much as they do pushing oneself to try new things and finish the workout to the best of your ability. These are not really workouts you do 6days a week. In my opinion, 3/4 days is sufficient enough to still get great results (research HIIT and see what I mean). As one of the coaches said “wreck your ego, not your body” or in other words check yourself before you wreck yourself ????My favorite thing about coming to this gym though, has to be the community. You meet new people and start a new little gym family (in example, completing health challenges together, having Christmas parties, or even just getting to know other members). The staff and coaches are also friendly and helpful, each coach has something unique to bring to the table, weather it be a unique teaching style, medical background, etc. It’s also super helpful that the owner of the gym is a chiropractor HAHA.Personally, I have always found it super helpful to see athletes of all fitness stages encourage you to push through a workout and do something you never thought your body could do before. It’s also nice that everyone there is not obsessed with taking gym selfies or recording their workouts, we are there to work out with some healthy competition and joking around along the way.At the end of the day, every gym has their pros and cons and it’s important to do what works best for your body and fitness goals. These workouts are not easy by any means, and if you start you may want to quit when you have those defeating days. My suggestion to you if you do start: don’t compare yourself to the other athletes, everyone has to start somewhere, be patient to yourself, listen to your body, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when feeling lost- keep in mind CrossFit has its own jargon, it’s like learning a new language . I would challenge you to keeping going for a least a month or two and see the progress you will make and the fun your will have.Well that’s my experience, hope it helps.

I started doing crossfit for a different type of workout. Little did I know how different it was! I've been doing CF for a year and i have enjoyed every minute of it. The workouts are fun and challenging but the coaches always there to help you through moments and pointers on how to approach each workout that best suits you. It's also just a great atmosphere of people to workout with as well, everyone is encouraging!

The program is challenging - but is designed with aspects to meet all fitness levels. There are Foundation classes for beginners or anyone that needs to get back to the basics. But even the daily workouts/WODS are designed to accommodate all fitness levels . Coaches are experienced, knowledgeable, and encouraging. They offer good feedback and recommendations. You won't find a better group of people. Friendly, supportive, and hard working folks - that know how to also have fun.
