“Hands down the best vet to trust with your animals! I have been to two other vets with my dog, Henry, and Cantrell Animal Clinic has been the best. Recently, Henry had surgery and they were so sweet with him, gave me regular updates, answered all my questions, gave me advice for various situations, talked to me upfront about costs, etc. I feel like they love my Henry just as much as I do! They got me in quickly for the first surgery and again when his incision needed to be sutured a week later, due to his ability to lick the incision without my knowledge. Henry is 11 years old and I am so thankful to have them in his aging years. I wish I had started going to them years ago.”

I was initially very nervous about bringing our cats here the first time, like anyone my cats are my babies and I am a little crazy about taking them anywhere that is not our regular vet. After the first visit I was no longer nervous at all! I have recommended them to everyone I know.They are sweet with our babies and pick up and drop off is very easy. We have never once had an issue with healing and they usually seem very comfortable once they are no longer stoned haha.I think it is so fantastic that they operate something like this, too many animals are left unfixed and the costs to do so are usually astronomical.So all that to say, if you have any doubts about going here rest assured you are in good hands!”

“Due to moving we’ve had to find a new vet, and Dr. Beam was able to get us in quickly and every visit has been great. Our dog Levi is a rescue and is extremely anxious, and to be honest is a nightmare at any vet. Dr. Beam and his staff are always very patient with him and do all they can to make sure he is taken care of. They also do a fantastic job of communicating everything that goes on during a visit.”

“What a lovely crew. I found them providing humanitarian (is that the right word?) animalitarian aid to a beautiful husky mix that had been shot in the leg. The leg had to go, but the dog lived on.. it was just amazing to see life-saving measures being used to help the helpless.For people who want the extra, they do acupuncture and laser therapy for animals who are aging. I think they will work on anything also. Basically, if you discover a living fossil, I think they will try to treat it. They will give it their best! Dr. Elise Johnson is a licensed Veterinarian and acupuncture therapist that is certified to treat animals. My hope is that these low invasive procedures will lead to fewer pharmaceutical interventions being needed for animals that I care about as they turn geriatric.”

Our animals are our heart and all the staff there clearly loves animals and they work so hard. “Wow...just wow! If Dr. Karen is not your pet's doctor, then she should be. You are missing out, if not. I love, love, love her and her staff as well. I am a picky dog mommy. I brought in my Chihuahua, who is the light of my life. Dr. Karen took the time to thoroughly examine my baby. She and her assistant took a lot of time with her.(not in the hurried manner some docs take). Dr Karen determined it was a cyst that needed to be removed very soon. I felt devastated by this news. My baby..surgery? No!I was a complete wreck the day of the scheduled surgery. I did make a few requests beforehand, one of which was: please let me stay with her until she goes under anesthesia. The other was, please let me be there while she comes out of surgery...both of which were honored. I asked Dr Karen and her assisting tech to come out to the lobby to pray for comfort and a good outcome. (a lot to ask I thought, but they honored that, too). They were sweet and understanding of such a nervous mommy.I went to the car to wait, as not to make a spectacle of myself in my worst state. I indicated I would be just outside and asked that they let me know when my bay was finished. It took only 30 minutes, which seemed to me like hours, but they texted to let me know she was through surgery. They allowed me to come back in to hold her at that point. Dr. Karen came in to personally write down all I needed to do once I arrived home and for the days that followed. (I believe she knew I might forget given my state at the time).I shall never forget the kindness and love that she and her staff showed me that hard day. My baby came through with flying colors...me, I was a complete mess but it is all in the past now. My baby is great.If you want a doctor who truly cares, loves and listens to you, spends time with you and your pet and above all is completely and totally knowledgeable..Dr. Karen should be your choice. She will always be mine.”

“Dr. Razer and Dr. Gibson were wonderful with my dog Tonks. She is 11 and I was referred to HAH by my vet in Conway for removal of several tumors. Dr. Razer examined her, was so patient and really took the time to discuss options. She oversaw her care and gave me post-op instructions. Dr. Gibson did her surgery removing 6 lumps, 4 lipomas and 2 types of cancer. She went above and beyond and was so patient and kept me informed every step of the way. Both doctors and all the staff were great and treated my dog and I both with kindness and compassion. I absoulutely recommend them.”
