I went here when I first moved to LR. First appt was okay they colored my hair well. I have to use Aveda or else my hair breaks off with other more harsh color brands. Next time I went I scheduled a color and cut. Craziest experience I have ever had. I showed a photo and said keep my length but give me this style. Well the stylist starting cutting and moving around and around my hair and every circle she cut my lenght shorter and shorter. After she had cut 2 inches off I told her to stop now and just shape the hair and be done. Well she kept going around two more times and took more length off and never shaped the cut at which point I said PUT THE SCISSORS DOWN AND STOP CUTTING MY HAIR BEFORE I AM BALD! She never styled my hair, it was a terrible cut and it has taken a year and a half to get back to the length it was when I went in there with my new stylist at Dillards (Jean, she is great). And they charged me for it. I tried to give them another chance and book with another stylist next time but when I went in there for just a color (only two Aveda salons I have found in town) they treated me like I was the problem and were kind of rude to me insinuating that I had asked for my hair to be cut off. I never went back and Jean at Dillards has been wonderful every since.

I have had Rachel and Myka do my hair on numerous occasions and I've always left happy with the results. The salon has a nice environment and I'm often able to call and get a same day appointment.

Bridget has been cutting my pixie cut on and off for the last 20 years! I've got wavy, thick hair and she knows exactly how to work with it. She also has a separate little boutique with beautiful wigs, just call for a consult.

Tony was amazing! I called at 2PM on a Monday for a same-day appointment to get my hair cut short with a new style. He got me in an hour later and he listened to what I wanted (which was to spend as close to NO time at all fixing hair as humanly possible) and gave me great ideas for my face shape and sometimes-gross nursing work. The end result was great! We also had a great conversation. I will definately be back.

I went to this salon solely because it was an "Aveda salon" and I have used Aveda hair color for at least 10 years simply because it is healthier for hair. I went in and showed James a picture of the blonde that I wanted in my hair and he admitted to using L'Oreal on my hair and he fried my hair from leaving it on for way too long. You can feel the difference on the top of my head vs. at the bottom since he didn't use it on my ends nearly as long as the top. The final results look NOTHING like the picture that I showed him. My hair looks white! I have had many people comment on my hair being too light now. I cannot have it fixed right now since I cannot do further damage for now. The salon offered to "fix" it by redoing it, but after this experience, I told them that I do not trust them with my hair and that I wanted a refund or a discount on what I paid. The owner refused to do either. This salon should not even be open. I've grown my hair out for four years now and now, it is ruined. :(
