Took my just turned two year old here and Shelli rocked it for us! Was very worried our son wouldn't sit still or would just cry, but Shelli made him feel so comfortable! He loved it, and we loved getting to sit in the play area while we waited, the facility was very nice. Shelli was very kind and was very helpful in making our boy have a great first haircut experience!

We got our 2 year old's hair cut at Pigtails & Crewcuts. We chose this place specifically since it was our toddler's first haircut, and per the reviews, they cut toddler/baby hair. When we walked in, no one greeted us or said hello. We just sat on the red chair and waited for the stylists to finish who they were with. We booked with Tracy because on the booking site it said she had 12 yrs of experience. Tracy did a decent job. She trimmed my toddler's bangs and cut her hair. However, she seemed a bit snappy and ready to go home. It was not the most friendliest or caring experience, especially for a first haircut for a toddler! My kid did well for her first time; she was calm and no tears shed. She did move her head a couple times to look around, but that was also due to the 2 staff members who were moving around and cleaning the place up. I am unsure if I will bring my toddler back here next time just due to a lack of customer service/friendliness.

Great place but you need to get a recommendation for a stylist.
Stylist: Took two kids. One had a very proficient stylist. The other required a fair amount of guidance from the other stylist. In the end, both kids looked sharp!

Ugh we have been here about 4 times and each time we tried a different person. Shockingly, each time my kid ended up with the WORST haircut! It's always insanely crooked. I think we are officially done. It's like the people there have no idea how to cut hair...

We went back in today for our second visit with Jordan and she was a sweet as ever but when I booked the appointment I made it a point to book it for an autistic child with sensory issues so I expected them to be aware that it was going to be a fight, cutting his hair just like last time After my child cried getting his haircut, I walked in the toy room to get his train and I overheard the store manager saying they have got to hurry up and get that kid out of here. I’ve got a headache and I can’t even pull my next customer until he’s gone Which I feel was very unprofessional and inappropriate considering they are supposed to be trained to deal with autistic kids I drive an hour and 45 minutes to get my sons haircut there because they are supposed to be more understanding with these kids that have sensory issues I will not ever take him back there just because of that one employee I was embarrassed And offended because I thought that this was a safe place for my son, but I was wrong.

Went in for our girl’s first haircut. The hair-washing sink was a full size sink (not even set up for kids) and the lady was rough trying to get our child to fit into it properly. I helped hold her up so she could actually get her hair washed. The lady drenched my girl’s back, completely soaked it.. she was rough during the haircut portion trying to position my child’s head as well. Overall for a place that specializes in first haircuts this was not a good experience for us at all. Between my kid getting drenched and how rough they were with everything I highly recommend you go to your own salon/barber to take care of your child.

Heart broken. Deborah ruined my son’s first haircut. I asked for one ponytail to get all of my son’s long, beautiful ringlets in one keepsake piece. She chopped off one tiny, random 2 inch piece in a loose ponytail that’s already falling out, then hacked up the rest of his 2 years of beautiful, long ringlets an inch at a time so there was nothing to save but an envelope of loose chunks of hair. I even stopped her to clarify before she made the first cut, and she said she was going to do what we asked. He had a good 7+ inches of ringlets he had grown and all we got left with was short bits of random loose hair chopped up and shoved into an envelope. What am I supposed to do with that? The first haircut package is just a picture they take on their cell phone after the cut is over, which I could do myself. Not to mention that she left scraggly bits all over his head that I’m going to have to fix myself. I should have cut his beautiful ringlets off myself like I wanted instead of assuming she could follow a simple request. You only get one first hair cut experience and she completely ruined it. We will never get those sweet baby ringlets back. It makes me sick to my stomach that she ruined our ability to have a decent keepsake. I didn’t realize how important this was to me until she destroyed his hair. If you care at all about a keep sake, do it yourself before someone steals that chance away from you forever. Don’t trust anyone to do it for you.

Monique is fantastic! Such a beautiful soul! She helped my baby get comfortable with getting her first hair cut and even gave me some advice on straightening and trimming schedule. We were walk in and desperately needed a trim before the rainy day ahead which would cause my baby’s hair to curl back up due to its love for water lol It was literally 15 minutes before closing and she really helped us out in a crunch. My 4 year old daughter had such a fantastic experience here. We will definitely be back and have already told everyone who asks about her hair about this sweet spot. Thank you all again!
