I stopped at this gas station to use my debit card for gas and a few items. I am someone making an honest living and every dollar has to count. So I saved $10 on my debit card so I can buy a few grocery items and toiletries for the house. When I arrived at the other store, my card was declined And I didn’t understand why. After checking my card I seen I was charged the exact same amount twice which put my card in the -$22 after returning to the store arguing with the cashier, the police being called, The owner being called, I had no choice, but just sit it out for the night and contact my bank to see what the issue was.
As it turns out this gas station puts a hold on your card for the exact same amount of your purchase. Meaning I spent $32 and they charged an additional $32, which my bank is telling me won’t be released for up to eight days. This wouldn’t be such a big deal for someone who had money to wait on it. But when you’re someone trying to make ends meet, or trying to make sure you have groceries in the meanwhile to feed your child before school, or toilet tissue to wipe your behind at home… This is a big deal. So for anyone going to this gas station, please be aware that if you use your debit card to make a purchase, they will charge you the same amount twice putting a hold on the amount that already has cleared in the store. And then will beat you getting mad about your own money. There’s all type of false advertisements on this website because they do not have a bathroom as well as other amenities that they claim they have.

It’s. 9:300pm and they close at 10:00. A crack head came out at 9:30 and said they was close.
