My experience is not good because of no interpreter and they provide a good meal for free but they have bible study and everything that is not my favorite thing to do and I have been very busy with something else like a future life style but they won’t let me so I always let them know days before and I don’t like shelter because of rules more often stupid things and no serious service for deaf and hard of hearing impaired people and stuff like that and I don’t like to wake up at 6:00 AM through lunch time but I love to go out so much and they won’t let me sit with my loverI’m done with shelter right now

It was a nice place they were all respectful helpful they feed you they give you a bed for a night as long as you go to Bible studies besides Little Rock Arkansas the rest of Arkansas is kind of slacking when it comes to homeless shelters for men they sure don't have this in Johnson county that's all women shelters out there

Seems to be run very well and is providing an invaluable service in Little Rock. Good customer service - I made a donation of clothing— Sincere gratitude and assistance by one of the men being helped by the services there. Strong sense of peace while I was there.

I had volunteered in the kitchen there earlier this year. The staff there in the kitchen were very polite, courteous and funny! Especially Mark! Lol!

Great Pastor and Wife the Compassion Center good place to get a restart in life if at your lowest I just Wish Pastor Holloway would come up with Programs for the Working People that's not homeless but one step from that point.

These people are NOT a Christian organization. They claim it for tax purposes only. They are disgusting rude people, who do NOT have any compassion! Absolute trash! They are about to be sanctioned by the department of justice. The Department of Justice continues to receive many questions about how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to service animals. The ADA requires State and local government agencies, businesses, and non-profit organizations (covered entities) that provide goods or services to the public to make “reasonable modifications” in their policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to accommodate people with disabilities. The service animal rules fall under this general principle. Accordingly, entities that have a “no pets” policy generally must modify the policy to allow service animals into their facilities. This publication provides guidance on the ADA’s service animal provisions and should be read in conjunction with the publication ADA Revised Requirements: Service Animals.

If I could give a zero I would. The front desk is the rudest person I've come across for simply asking a question. While trying to become unlost after the train, we were told we could not set foot on their property. 2:30am and in an incredibly dangerous part of town. This place offers the OPPOSITE of compassion.

The meaning of compassion is the act of being sympathetic: having pity, and concern for others suffering or misfortune. The Little Rock Compassion Center has the lack of compassion. These staff members treat these homeless individuals like they have no worth and it’s indecent on their behalf. They judge these humans more than they assist them during their time of need.I will begin with I am not and have never been homeless. I attended this bible study at the Compassion Center to gain more knowledge than what I’ve already obtained as well as speak on my knowledge of the Bible. I came for a week straight to this environment to visit someone in the facility and have gained nothing except disappointment for the establishment. Beginning with the lack of care towards their verbal sayings in the behalf of the people seeking help through the center. Following with the loss of effort in most the workers to attempt to bring happiness to any of these people in the shelter. Last of all attending Bible study was only useful in one class out of the many I attended. The Monday service teacher was pleasant and wanted engagement. That in my opinion helps others learn information compared to the others that wouldn’t let any of the individuals speak or engage in the conversation. I had raised my hand to speak for two different staff members. One saw my hand and said he was going to continue speaking without allowing me to speak even when he was done. The other was a lady that unfortunately I can’t remember the name of, but she intentionally ignored my hand that was in the air for quite some time. Eventually ended with her looking at me with a mean mug and telling me no. I had to excuse myself and leave. I in no way, shape or form believe this is how Christians should behave. It was far from love. In my opinion this place isn’t there to truly show compassion or care for others. Yet they show the complete opposite quite well. I will end with the fact that I will no longer be attending said Bible study or church due to the disrespect as well as rude behaviors I encountered today. It was an ungodly setting full of false testimony and actions that showed the opposite of God’s love. As a result I was absolutely unsatisfying.“Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”

I had some fun while I temporarilly resided here. This place is surely sufficient for people who need addiction recovery and a place to sleep an night. I recommend it to any homeless vagrant. I worked at the thrift store warehouse a bit, sort of giving something back. I had fun. I enjoyed their puppit play, "Hold on tight to your dreams ", as well as their church services. Amen.
