A True Gem in Little Rock
This is a salon where the experience feels less like an appointment and more like an oasis. It is one of the best-run businesses in Little Rock, and the reason is the people and their expertise, from those on the floor to those behind the scenes.
They make contacting them and scheduling a breeze, and they also do their best to accommodate their clients. The moment you walk in, you are met by welcoming professionals.
The technicians are great and work seamlessly with the stylists. The stylists listen and translate clients' preferences into great cuts, not just on day one, but cuts that hold shape until the next visit (a first for me).
This is the only place I go to have my brows shaped. It is an art to align the brow shape to the face structure. It always looks natural and with a gentle touch.
They get it right every single time!

My search for a hairstylist has ended. I got a appointment with Joel's . Let me tell you if want a great experience with a salon you have to go here. They are very professional and have a beautiful salon. My hair was styled to my liking and it came out beautiful. This was a busy place and as I watched all the beautiful styles on other ladies I was really impressed. Thanks for great service and my beautiful new style.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Billy at Joel Salon for a while now, and he’s hands down the best. He really knows how to work with my hair, making sure every cut looks great and grows out well. Beyond that, he’s just a great guy to talk to—always engaging, easygoing, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. The salon itself has a great atmosphere, welcoming and laid-back, which makes every visit something to look forward to. Highly recommend Billy to anyone looking for top-notch service and great conversation!

The best!!!!! Taylor is a 10/10 for color, cut AND style. It’s not easy to find someone who hits the mark on all three. Great atmosphere and client service oriented.

Joel’s Salon is always an exceptional experience! Maddi provided me a Kerastase treatment yesterday from the new Premiere line and I cannot quit talking about how much better my hair feels now. 10/10!

I did not have a good experience at Joel's at all. I was a new client for Sydney. I was washed and draped and waiting while she finished up another client. There was no consultation and after a small, difficult conversation she gave me a very basic lob with no personality that I at first assumed was due to my inability to articulate what I wanted even with the picture I showed her. I came back for a second appointment 6-8 weeks later and said that the cut had worked fine but that I would like it a little shorter and with more movement or body. Second worst haircut of my life. I had to go see a different stylist to fix it the next day. My hair was a mess with beginner mistakes. Both times I was rushed through with no consultation or even being shown the back of my hair when the styling was done but rushed out as if I was in a McDonald's drive through for hair. I do not recommend!
