“I’ve made two orders from this shop. On one order I had to follow up to ensure that out of stock items were shipped. My inquiries were answered promptly and the items were shipped quickly. Makes me confident in continuing to shop here. They also have unusually good sales and deals; their mailing list is well worth subscribing to.”

“My best holiday shopping experience was with your store. Casey went above & beyond to ship a Vietri piece to me in California. She drove it herself to UPS to make sure it would arrive by my tight deadline. It arrived today and was carefully packaged. I cannot thank her enough and want the whole world to know this was outstanding customer service! Happy Holidays!”

“I love this store! Along with the gifts and local goods/foodstuffs it has a huge tea selection - Savoy Teas. My husband and I stopped getting tea anywhere else. We love the Gentleman Scholar, Orange Cinnamon Roll, Bedtime Story and others. The tea is so flavorful, never weak or meek. We are hooked! I also get our microgreens and honey there.”

“Really great pharmacy. The place is kind of a Little Rock landmark since it has been around for a good while. The store has old pharmacy and soda bottles on a shelf near the ceiling which is a cool way to display the history of the pharmacy. Other than the cool aestetics, the one time I used this pharmacy, I was pleased with the experience. My girlfriend was sick and was prescribed a medication that has apparently become perceived as too much of a liability for many pharmacists to stock. The medication went by the name of codeine with promethazine aka Cough syrup. She was able to get her badly needed couch syrup and I got to see neat artifacts of society's not too distant past. 5 minutes later, I was still looking at old soda and medication bottles after my girlfriends prescription was filled. I would make this my pharmacy if I did not have strong loyalty to another.”

“Strolling through the lovely gardens and fountains at Heifer International this afternoon. I did some consulting for them a few years back, and they are, by far, my favorite non-profit. Starting with a shipment of 17 young female cows to Puerto Rico in 1944, HI has distributed healthy and very much-needed livestock such as cows, goats, sheep, bees, and water buffalo -- along with training and other resources -- to more than 105.1 million people in more than 125 countries. Their 2020 annual report sums up best why I love them so. "We believe that ending hunger and poverty begins by developing long-term solutions in partnership with the people we are serving. Through this work, we've helped empower more than 34 million families since our humble beginnings in 1944. When communities and other stakeholders are actively engaged in implementation and financing, projects are much more sustainable. This enables us to work on a deeper, more concentrated level, fostering robust economic markets that allow family members to earn a living income, so that the basic needs of everyone in the household are met. We have seen results in transforming the level of transparency, accountability, and innovation in the nonprofit world through block-chain technology. Our School Milk Program in the United Republic of Tanzania is providing milk for children who suffer from a lack of proper nutrition while creating a reliable market for producers. Through the Hatching Hope program, our partnership with Cargill is allowing farmers to expand poultry production and sell their products at market for a living income. We are highly committed to running an efficient and effective organization. We believe values-based partnerships and investments are necessary for long-term growth." Hells yes times ten. We very much need more organizations like this, and if you want to donate, or even share a story, they would love to hear from you. Next time you're in Little Rock, come check out Heifer International. It will not disappoint. In fact, tell them Jason sent you.”

“Fascinating. Looks like a small store from outside, must have 100 booths. Each both is owned and stocked by individuals and they have a code that the cashier uses to check you out. Lots of vintage finds. Right now mostly Christmas items and all booths are running sales. We spent almost 2 hours looking around. Worth going!”
