Truck got towed up to this shop for a transmission rebuild by Rob. Had it for a while just now getting back Monday drove for a couple of hours. Next morning truck completely won’t turn over to catch with my starter. And he is not answering the phone now after receiving payment. Do not do business with them!!

DO NOT GIVE IT TO HIM ???.....He broke my truck on rebuilding the transmission truck only lasted 10 hours he won't pick up the phone no more he will tell you he prefers cash before he fixed on your vehicle he answer all calls. After you pay he will not answer call or text from you

Do not use this shop I paid him to change the rear main seal and plate in my truck while he had the transmission out and he said he did about 2 weeks later my truck had an exhaust leak where he cut the pipe so I took it and had it fixed and when I got under the truck I noticed everything under my truck was covered in oil so I had to put it back in the shop that I use around the house and they tell me that they took the driveshaft bolt out by hand the bolts in the torque converter they took out by hand and they also told me that the guy didn’t put a new plate just the old one covered in silicone when I called Arkansas transmission he acted as if it were no big deal and said he would buy me a 30 dollar plate ! Just bad business do not recommend

If were possible a negative 100 (-100) would be my rating. Took my 2008 Ford F250 in to Arkansas Transmission on Barry Lane, Little Rock, for a transmission diagnostic on August 18, 2023. Agreed to the repair of the torque converter control valve after speaking with Rob. He said it would a couple of weeks because he was already working on other vehicles and the part had to be ordered. Checked back with him a couple of time and he said a couple more days. On September 6, 2023, I called to check on the truck and was told by Big Rob, Rob's dad, that the truck had been wrecked on Labor Day, September 4, 2023 and it was totaled. The police report stated Rob was driving the truck, towing a boat and a trailer several miles from Barry Lane, ran off the road and hit a tree. The truck was subsequently towed to Arkansas Transmission. I had to secure and pay for a tow truck to tow my wrecked truck to my property. It appears that Labor Day was not the only time Rob had used my truck for personal reasons. This is evident by the numerous personal items found in the truck to include empty drinking cups from various store locations and a Disciplinary Report from Robinson High School for a child that I do not know. They have made no attempts to contact me to address or resolve the issue of them wrecking my truck. They have proven to be deceitful/dishonest in their dealings, gave 3 different accounts of how the accident occurred. Irresponsible, never provided any reasons for towing a boat and trailer on Labor Day with my truck. Unprofessional in using my truck for personal business without my permission. Neither have they responded to attempts to contact to resolve the matter.Please consider my experience before engaging with this business. I DO NOT recommend this business.

Worst experience from a shop ever, stuck out of town and needed a transmission put in, bought all the parts brand new and delivered, paid them 2500 in labor to install it and a new clutch, showed up to pick it up and the new parts still weart on the truck, job wasn't done. Stuff left hanging loose instead of in the clips, cigarette burns on my center console, oil all over my truck bed and doors and interior, missing screws from interior, yellow scuff on the front bumper from something hitting it or he hit something test driving it and curbed rashed a $8500 set of wheels. A brand new transmission covered in oil and leaking already. Confronted him about it all before leaving, all he could say was sorry and offended to return 100 bucks. Stay away from this place. They'll talk you up about how good they are and take your money then trash your vehicle.

I found this shops number on google and called him and he gave me a quote…. I took it to him that evening and he started on it the next day and it was literally done that day. I picked it up and the transmission was shifting like a new truck again. Very awesome blessing that i met this guy and he was real simple to work with!!!Service: Transmission

Super friendly family owned business, they went out of their way to help me with my transmission. I can not thank them enough! I also needed a drive shaft to get the 4 wheel drive to work, I’m in the military and do not know alot of people in the area. They were kind enough to drive the truck after they fixed my transmission with the driveshaft that they gave me to the other shop to get that fixed. Once the drive shaft was fixed, Arkansas transmission put it in the truck for me for no additional charge! They also Warranty their work! Oh, did I mention they had my transmission fixed within two days! Highly recommend, they won’t disappoint and they stand by their word! You could not ask for a better transmission shop! Thank you again!

I would just like to reply to some of these post. They have been rebuilding transmissions for 40 plus years! If you bought a bench job and it didn't work after you put it in you more than likely didn't PUT it in right. That is exactly why we do not warranty bench jobs. We don't warranty what you mess up. It takes alot of money time and work in this line of work. We don't have time to argue with any of you. So if we quit answering it's simply because you're being ignorant and we've tried to explain as nicely as possible ten times it wasn't our fault already. We always have proof it wasn't as well. All of our full jobs come with a one year unlimited mile warranty. But it does not count if 1.you messed it up yourself 2. You put it in wrong or 3. There's something else wrong with your vehicle that's causing the transmission to burn up. Our shop is literally right by our home and we do not purposely bring trouble here. We go above and beyond to help. I apologize to everyone who was not happy with their experience but some things just simply aren't our fault. If you go to Walmart and purchase a bike and go home and wear it out riding it and then go back to Walmart expecting a refund or a new bike it's just not going to happen. Please don't expect the same from us. We absolutely garuntee our work but not what you do with neglect. 5018048415 you're more than welcome to call with any concerns. I would recommend this business to anyone having motor problems they rebuilt my transmission in a timely manner with excellent customer service I give them 5 stars!!!!!Edit: I want to change my review i gave them 350$ and my transmission now I don't have nothing 1 phone is disconnected the other # I have is turned off. I have not gotten any answer since the 1st of October I would not recommend this business to anyone!!!!Service: Transmission
