They sale vehicles and tell you that you have bumper to bumper coverage that you pay extra for and than they don't stand behind what they say.

So I got a letter from Kia that I had a recalI on my Kia Sorento 2011. from may of 2023. I got a new battery on my truck in late February of 2024 at auto zone because I thought that it just needed a new battery. So i thought that's why my truck was messing up. My truck worked for a few weeks then it didn't start at all. I got it towed to buds Texaco and they said it was a electrical problem and they couldn't fix it. So the same day I got it towed to kia cavenaugh and they knew it was coming there because I called them. My truck has a blow and go on there and so it was already calibrated. They told me it would take TWO weeks before they look at it because it was "other" cars ahead of me. I waited the two weeks and called they said they haven't gotten to it still or looked at it. So I waited a month then another month because they didn't want to answer the phone or kept giving me the run around. The calibration went out on it because they never got to it in time so I had it towed next door got it calibrated at Russel's truck accessories got it towed back to them the same day July 1st of 2024. They told me that it would take another two weeks but it became 3 weeks before they touched it. So fast forward it's now July 31st 2024 and I called them AGAIN because they never call me ever!! I asked them why is it taking so long and y'all had it like 4 or 5 months they said let me call you back in a few minutes but it was like three hours. They told me they couldn't fix it because of "liability issues" and it has a blow and go and their not gonna risk it. They said even if I get it out of the truck they still wouldn't fix it because of liability issues. I asked them why they had it so long all this time and deny me. I lost my job it hard to get around with no car I have kids bills and they messed me over.

I drove my 2014 Kia Soul to the Kia Service Department with two warning lights on and my car in limp mode. They could not help me and said it would be 7 weeks before they could even get me in for a diagnosis. They sent me on my way still in limp mode. I drove straight to Plaza Tire on Southwest Drive. Plaza Tire had my car diagnosed and repaired in less than 3 hours!! They didn’t take a huge chunk out of my bank either.

I scheduled an appointment on line to have a Check Engine light looked at and diagnosed. Arrived for my appointment and they tell me I would have to be rescheduled because a specific Mechanic at a different location would have to do this Diagnosis. At this location they only do regular maintenance tasks. This information is not shown on the website. But it's also on a totally different Schedule that is not listed on the website. The appointment had to be pushed back for almost 2 months to have a problem diagnosed. Please adjust the website to show that for diagnostics is on a totally different schedule and at a different location. This can be very frustrating and is not clear at all.
Create a new section that is specifically for diagnostics and have an accurate schedule online for customers to pick from.

I brought my car in June 2024 for diagnostic test and was charged $163.00 for it. Turns out that they misdiagnosed my car and now they don’t want to fix the issue on my car. It has taken them two weeks to figure out what’s wrong due to “their system being down” and I have to reach out to them instead of them calling me. The technician saids take it back to the mechanic who fixed it the first time because he doesn’t want to fix on it. Cavenaugh Kia gets a 0/10 for me. How does a dealership not want to fix a Kia car and not accommodate me for misdiagnosing my car and charged me for it?! I don’t recommend this dealership to anyone and Kia are the worst to car to buy not reliable at all and always have a ton of recalls that takes months to get fixed!

I brought my 2013 Kia optima to Cavenaugh Kia on May 28th 2024 for four new tires to be installed. At that time I told them I was having brake problems and could they check it out. After my tires were installed they told me that my front right rotor was going out. I asked if it would be okay to wait until I needed an oil change. I was told yes. Now the brakes are almost totally out. It's almost not drivable. I called Cavenaugh Kia and they cannot get me in until July 2nd. I told them I would have to tow it in at that time because I can barely drive it. They were like that's fine. Absolutely no sense of urgency or concern about my car or my safety. Very disappointing, I've been using them for 10 years with no problems. But they can't fit me in for an emergency and I'm going to have to find somewhere else to go. Great job! ?

Have had my car for 6 months. Will not return our calls. My wife has had to do all the leg work to get anything done. We are working on having it sent to another dealership. Don’t buy a Kia and if you do don’t use this service center. Still don’t have a car! Update had to pay to have my car towed to the Batesville dealership because cavenaugh refused to do further diagnostics needed by warranty. Chris is service is absolutely useless. Dustin the service manager didn’t seem to care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Cavenaugh Kia has been really good to us when it comes to warranty and service work for our Telluride.
