BEST CRYSTAL MINE EVER!! I found a Crystal that was 2 feet long!! I sold it later on eBay for $7350. The guy at the mine may look rough, but he is a very nice person! Strongly Recommend! ❤️

Had an absolute blast!! A friend and I were road tripping cross country and i convinced him to do some crystal mining. So we picked here. it was great! We both had such a great time. Worth every penny. Found lots of crystals!! Spent most of the day here. Mined for quite awhile. went to the parking lot and had our lunch then went back at it. So much fun!! We will def be back when in the area.

Big selection of rocks and crystals. Very cool to see all the different colors and shapes. Tables and tables full of rocks. I’m not sure about quality because my knowledge about the subject is limited but this place is worth a quick stop if you’re on the area.

This is the place to shop and spend time in the outside gem yard. You will be amazed by what nature can create. They also have a mine that you can mine for gem rocks and keep what you unearthed.

We always stop in this shop. Sometimes we make a purchase, sometimes not. It's hard to say what is actually mined locally and what is brought in from other areas. Seems to be a lot of imported gemstones and crystals.

There are some beautiful gems in this place. I meant to the mining area and dug around in the clay for a few hours. Finding crystal quartz there took absolutely no effort at all. There are other minerals there as well. It is worth getting a little dirty for.

We had a great time digging in the dirt. Found lots of great crystals and quartz. New dumps produced the best.

Found some great crystals! There's a shady spot in the very back corner under a magnolia tree that's perfect for digging!

The mine is about five miles from the shop. You must stop at the shop to get your mine permit. Items to bring, a pail for your finds, a kneeling pad, a three prong hand garden rake, a small garden shovel. The clay is quite dense so be prepared. Can't stress this enough... cover your car seats you will get dirty! A change of clothes and plenty of water.

The prices are awesome and the staff is amazing. Amy took the time to explain different fossils and crystals to my son. Her passion really showed and my son was so happy to learn from her. We can not wait to come back in November.

1st don't get confused between Ron Coleman and Jim Coleman. There are signs everywhere for Ron Coleman Mines but I followed my phone and went straight to the store. Upon entering I met this lady and she can talk! I was so engaged with her and enjoying my conversation that if I didn't leave, it would have gotten too hot. I was lucky I did go to the store instead of going straight to the mine. The address on their website took me to the mine but it's at the store that you lay your entrance fee, and buy a bucket and digging tool. The drive to the mine is a little unnerving, especially if you have a rental vehicle and not a truck. There are dirt roads that have been driven many many times, so it is hard, but they were asleep photos and some mud. They are signs near every time so that you don't get lost but be very careful if you're using your phone as a GPS has my GPS cut out about the middle. You will definitely find quarts. There are little pieces everywhere. If your lucky you'll find a larger one. When I was done, I went back and bought a bunch more for my wife and kids.
