Really 0 stars! Do not ever use this body shop. I had taken both our vehicles several times with no issues. In November of 2021 my wife’s car was hit resulting in damage to the back bumper. I took it to Pugh to have it fixed. The same day I brought the car back my wife and I noticed two issues. The sides of the bumper were popping out and the piece around one of the tail pipes wasn’t secured properly. I took it back the next day and they “fixed” the piece around the tail pipe and said the bumper would eventually form to the car to prevent the sides from popping out. 5 months later the sides were still popping out. While we were on the freeway the entire bumper fell off the car. We immediately contacted Mr. Pugh and sent pictures. His first response, based solely on the picture, was that it looked like someone took the bumper off. He kept saying that 10 bolts were missing. We took it to his shop and the guy that actually installed it took a look. Hours later the owner again said that it was taken off because 10 bolts were missing, but had never physically looked at the car. We took it to Toyota and were told there was no way to tell whether it fell off or was taken off and there wasn’t 10 bolts that holds it on. There are 2 bolts (still intact) four clips (2 intact) and retainers around the top from one side to the next (also still intact). We tried to come to an agreement with Mr. Pugh and he said he wasn’t going to help because we removed the bumper. We filed a small claims case which was transferred to civil because he hired a lawyer. I provided her with all the documents backing our story and she filed for a continuance based on not having all the info she asked for. Yet before filing that motion they tried to settle with us for less than what we paid and Mr. Pugh accepting no fault. We asked for a full refund due to a quote from another body shop was going to cost more. Do not use this shop! They do shotty work and will not back or warranty anything.
