Please stay where you are the internet drops 4,5 times a day but they will hit u with 20 25 dollar late fees if u don’t pay before 8am of your due date but when the internet drops for 10 hrs they don’t credit u anything bills still the same trust me don’t waste your time the hype is fake it’s not fast it lags a lot please stay where u are !

Was previously with Suddenlink. Never had a single issue dispite others saying they had. Figured I'd jump on the Connect2first bandwagon. Bad decision. Extremely low s peeds never match what I'm paying for, constant outages for hours at a time for no apparent reason. As I'm typing this the internet is out. Get it together!

Connect2First should change their name to Connect2Last. If you enjoy a slow and unreliable internet connection and frequent outages for hours at a time, this is the provider for you! When you call customer “support” you’ll be blamed for the problem you’re having and told to restart your equipment (even though you do that regularly). Instead of admitting that they deliberately limit their users' internet connection bandwidth, they’ll say it’s your equipment (even if your modem, routers and switches are updated and efficient).

We switched to this company from Fidelity a few months back. So far our experience hasnt been too bad. Unfortunately, the performance isn't quite up to par of what we pay for, but we are summing that up to the service still being somewhat new to the area. Additionally, the lack of functioning ports on the modem produces inconvenience. So far we have had pretty steady connection with the exception of maybe two incidents during heavy storms. Overall functional, but definitely some room for improvement.

No problems since I switched.
Had Optimum, went out every night at 9:45.
Then Verson, same as my phone, thought phone wrks, not enough strength.
Connect2 works awesome. Get what you pay for.

I've tried to call multiple times and every time. I try to call and I press the number one for new service. You can hear them talking and laughing. And then they disconnect every single call. I hope this is not the kind of service that they offer for internet.

This provider being brand new had me on my feet with anxiety as to how good their service was and to how expensive their plans was. I'm here to tell you that from just 1 phone call all of my questions were answered in a timely and professional manner. 100% recommend this provider, great speeds!

Just like all the other bad reviews - it works great at first, but after a few months the speed starts to degrade. I called customer service last week and they told me there is no problem, but I should get their extender. Instead, I tried testing things myself by removing some devices from the network and moving my laptop closer to the router. Didn't work. This week it has continued to degrade. I just clocked 9.9 down/39 up. Useless. I've been trying to contact customer service for an hour and it goes to a recording "Your call can not be completed at this time." This is DURING business hours. I feel like we've all been scammed.Not to mention the total mess they made of the neighborhood when burying the lines. I've had fiber installed in other homes (not this state, of course) and there were no issues like this when the laying the lines! That should have been my red flag to stay away!

Have loved this service since I got it but had my first problem.. internet been down since Wednesday night.. no one can tell me when they are coming to fix it.. got email that said they may be out today but not sure?.. very poor communication with service department.. update from first review.. just talked to tech support AGAIN.. still a maybe for today.. if I stay home on Sunday it’s a maybe also.. or wait til 8 am Monday to speak with someone in charge .. no internet for 4 days and best they can do is maybe?? Guess I’ll be looking for another provider

good internet, just can't open ports up that i needed to be open. port what i needed on the router, my personal router and their router. nothin workin. ports gotta be open for anything to work if port forwardin or notdon't use this company if you got 4glte personal cellspot to boost phone signal, text and datathey only allow 1 port to be openshould've stayed with suddenlink/optimummight just go back to it if they can't open the ports, ports gotta be open, can't just port forward on router and expect for it to worksince they refuse to open the ports from their own modemi be goin back to optimum, but another updated modem, have them open the ports i need to be openbe connected to the device i need, i can connect 50 different wifi routers to the optimum cable modem and 4glte personal cellspot be connectedfor connect2first fiber optic, they ain't openin the portsUDP 123, UDP 500, UDP 4500take me of bridge mode and open the portsthey just don't wanna do anything to over power the system there
