The manager wouldn't rent me a car even though I had all the right paperwork.he just said he wouldn't rent to me no reason. I've never been treated like that. I'm thinking about a lawyer

A one is too high. But the Google won’t take Zero!Here are the facts.Rented a car over the weekend to pick up on Wednesday. 3-4 days notice!At 8 am on the Wednesday I was to pick up my car, an agent calls to tell me they don’t have a car to give at 9 so not to come.I asked when I would get a car. They don’t know. Will I get a car today. They don’t know. Why didn’t you have this better planned I ask. “I only work here 2 days a week”.I asked for a manager or district manager to call me. When I still had no call by 11, I called Enterprise customer service and asked for the regional/district manager to call. Customer service took my information and said they would escalate it. No call.I called customer service at 2. Asked for the regional/district manager to call. I was told they are busy taking care of other issues. To which I replied, “you are telling me there are so many issues that they can’t get to me in over 6 hours?” I asked for a name. She told me she had no name for this regional/district manager. I asked if I could rent a car from the airport (Little Rock about an hour away). After many many minutes on with her she connected me to the airport (I thought she was going to speak to them on my behalf) and after a couple minutes of waiting a message came on to say there was no one available to take my call and to call back…-and I was disconnected. Imagine how I felt by being hung up on after all that time.Then I called the rep in the Hot springs airport office. Poor Ben. I asked Ben for the name of his regional manager and he told me it is John Thompson. If that gets Ben fired he will be better off than staying at Enterprise (but please don’t fire him). Turns out John Thompson is on vacation. And I think to myself “Who was left in charge?” And previously the enterprise customer service operator told me he was dealing with other customers and complaints. Was I misled or flat out lied too? I insisted that Ben text John Thompson and let him know I expect a call from him. Ben said he would.Ironically, while on hold with the enterprise service desk, the wait on hold message says “You need a partner you can trust” and we are doubling down on cleaning. Oh really. Actions speak louder than words!It was 3 pm and I still needed a car for my business work. I drove to the Hot Springs Airport Enterprise office to ask Ben face-to-face, “Can I get a car at the Little Rock airport?”Poor Ben. Enterprise placed this kind young man in that office to face embittered customers like me. I asked again if he had a car. No. I asked him to tell me if I could get a car at the airport. No.I walked 10 feet to my right and rented a vehicle from Hertz. Well done Hertz. You are my hero today.Sorry, but offering a review of 1 is much too high for Enterprise. I use Enterprise from time to time, when getting to a National lot is not reasonable.I have come to expect sub par performance. I have to say I was not horribly surprised when I get that call telling me they had no cars.It is hard to fault the desk employees because the low staff ratios and limited car offerings. The leadership needs to own this because it is a systemic issue caused by a very greedy and poor business model.Family owned right? Wake up Enterprise. Take heed.Right now it is 8:34 pm and I still have not received a call from anyone at Enterprise, either on vacation or otherwise. 12 hours and counting. BooUPDATE-Thursday, 10/11/23 8 days after my horrible incident.I called Enterprise customer service again on 10/9 and the manager, John Thompson called me back very quickly. After I explained everything he said he would get back with me with some kind of a resolution. As of today he has not called back or emailed me. Resolution to me will, at very least, include paying for my Hertz Rental car bill. Enterprise…what the heck is going on?As of this morning 99 people have seen this post.

Do not rent a car here!!! They don't have cars even when you make a reservation!!! We reserved a car for a week long vacation only to arrive and find out that Enterprise had no cars and no solutions. Enterprise called us that morning of pickup to inform us that our car would be delayed from the reserved 9am pickup to around 12:30pm for tire repairs. We never recieved a call back as we were told we would. We arrived at agency at 3pm only to find out they'll never had ANY cars available and the agent had made up the story about the car getting its tires fixed. Terrible experience with Enterprise!!!

If I could give NO stars I would. Enterprise is a joke. Don’t waste your time. Their system lets you book cars they don’t actually have. We got to the airport and the guys said he didn’t have the car we booked and in fact had no cars. He said he tried to reach out. I had no messages from him. He said he couldn’t remember if he left a message. Why wouldn’t you leave a message? I checked another location, same thing no cars available regardless of what their website says.

Liars. Said their availability is a bug in the system and don't actually have what you select for your reservation. They tried to charge me $200 more for the vehicle they didn't have than the other location. I don't know who it was but when I setup the reservation at the other location, the guy I talked to at this place called me and had a rude attitude and told a different story than the first time. Liars and thieves.

The absolute worst!They would not honor my reservation because they decided they no longer want to do one way reservations, even though they accepted the reservation when I made it weeks ago. I booked my flights based on this reservation. They did not help me at all and left me stranded in Hot Springs. Do not trust them with your travel plans!!

Jack at the Airport Enterprise was so nice and helpful. He called right after I filed my claim online and got me set up with a rental car.

worst. service. ever. They "reserved" me through location, yet didn't tell me they have been closed for a month. I got dropped off and stranded here. WORST. PLACE.

I had a reservation to pickup at noon on Saturday. I arrive at noon and they were closed. Why let someone reserve a noon pickup if you close at noon. I could have come sooner had I known noone would be there at noon. I was scheduled to go out of town tomorrow. All customer service could do was tell me to find another location, she found one open tomorrow but my reservation is no longer valid now.

The worst company to rent a car, their insurance cover is totally a fraud, and they have the worst costumer service I ever seen. I do not really know how they are still in business.

All i can do is wish i had that car still.. in love with it and didnt wNt to give it bback.. but easy to get and got my refund easily.. thank you for helping so quickily
