The absolute rudest and self righteous management I’ve ever encountered! They can crunch numbers but their entitled attitude should steer anyone of faith away. They really shocked me.

Today, I placed a call to Kennedy and Co. requesting documents to be emailed that are needed for the completion of business transactions. The receptionist assured me that she would have them sent to me today via email. Needless to say, I did not receive the documents. Had this been the first, second or even third time I had encountered problems with the customer service at this business I would not be writing this review. One example of one problem I encountered.....My exhusband and I had utilized the services of Kennedy and Co. for 4 years (2016-2019). The exhusband was able to forge my signature to tax documents for 3 of those 4 years unbeknownst to me until my divorce proceedings. Excuses have ensued when Kennedy and Co. refuse to produce tax filing documents that I have requested from them related to the divorce proceedings and/or personal needs. Kennedy and Co. handled our business and personal tax filings for those 4 years. I know that not all of us experience poor customer service however when the experience continues to be poor I would hope that we would speak up since we are paying or have paid for a service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Kennedy and Co. to my family or friends. Maybe this review will help throw some light on issues within the business.

Thank you to Darlene Kennedy and Kennedy & Company CPAs. We have been using Darlene for tax preparation for 12+ years... and still do, even though we live 1,000 miles away in Dallas. If you are in the Chicago area (they are in Batavia), and need a CPA, call Darlene. Her team is so responsive to questions, accurate and reasonable.
