I’d honestly rate this store a 0 if I could. I used to love coming in here when it first opened but now, not so much. It all started when Lisa became manager. I’ve noticed that she talks bad about her staff/customers to other customers & employees. She constantly complains to customers about working so much & never getting a day off. You would think that’s a requirement of being a manager. A lot of elderly people live here & come in the store. I’ve heard her telling them that they need to do the survey on the receipt in order for the store to stay here. I’ve noticed their expressions when she says that & it’s not very pleasant. Every time she gets a new employee that’s kind & helpful they don’t last very long. There was a period of time that they had a great group of employees but I’ve overheard her speaking harshly to them on several occasions. I’m wondering if that’s why they left. Also, the store is never stocked anymore. I can’t ever find anything I’m needing. I wish that DG would get a handle on this cause I’ve noticed this same problem in other stores too.

Holliday ISLAND dollar general is by farthest the cleanest most organized and peaceful shopping experience I've ever had was dollar general. The managers, employees, are the most helpful and friendly. Always greeting customers w a smile letting us know we are Welcome and that our business is greatly APPRECIATED. THANKS

I love this Dollar Store. It is really big. Every time I go there it is better stocked. It is clean and well lighted and cool! They have my favorite pop cycles so I go and stock up. Millions of snacks, too. Try it, you will like it!

I love this dollar store. Only problem is sometimes you're waiting awhile in the checkout line. There can be other workers but they don't open a register, so you haveta wait on the 1 checker.
