“My grandfather, Glenn Duffy Sr., worked for the school system for the better part of 30 years. During the time that he was an employee of the district he did everything to ensure that all of the children he vowed to help got an opportunity to attend classes and so as the superintendent of schools he also drove the school bus while my grandma, using items from her home and garden, made sure that all students got a good nutritious hot meal; regardless of ability to pay. Please be grateful for people as selfless as they were and pay it forward ! They were the same Duffys that had the retail store "Duffields" which I recently learned will be joined to the old city hall to construct the new library! That is more of an honor than you can imagine considering that they were educators before anything else.”
