My husband completed a plumbing job for Saia in Fort Smith, Arkansas in January of 2023. As of June they have yet to pay his $500 invoice. He has been in communication with them every since, asking repeatedly when they will pay and he continues to get the run around. It's so sorry that such a gigantic company is stiffing a small business owner for their hard work. To top it off, my husband also mows the Saia property in Fort Smith and was called asked to mow it. He followed through with his contractual obligation even though he knows he likely won't get paid from the plumbing job. Maybe this will help.

I had some products shipped to which it ended up in the Fort Smith site on a Sunday and was advised I was to receive a call for delivery.

Had and item set at this facility (we dont know exactly how long it sat there) and we contacted the company we purchased it from and they said it was there. We called Saia and spoke with a VERY rude and hateful lady and scheduled a delivery for Tuesday before 4PM well both my wife and I took off work early to be there when it was delivered (they said we was responsible for unloading a 475 LB package) so my wife and I was planning on unloading it by hand at our house, well as time went on they never showed, so we contacted them again (once again she was very rude and VERY HATEFUL) and said "we decided to to bring it today we will try tomorrow" so we decided to go to their facility to pick it up ourselves since they are very unprofessional about the entire process... (Recieving said package, contacting customer, and promot delivery) so we paid them to deliver a package that we ended up going and picking up ourself VERY VERY unsatisfied and unhappy with the whole situation and this company. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company!!!

Posting on behalf of my father. My dad was trying to explain to the woman in the phone that the delivery truck should be able to get to our home. We live right next to the street which is a TWO-way road. She proceeds to tell my dad that there is no way that a semi that big could come deliver the package on a one way road. I live in this house and see semis regularly. My dad tried to explain but she kept saying “Are you done talking? Are you going to listen to me?”. Throughout the phone call she keeps a rude and negative tone. We got off the phone feeling very upset. This is not how customer service should be handled. This woman was rude and should not be in charge of it. We have yet to get our delivery but once we do, we will never use this company again.

Still waiting on an item that's been sitting at this facility for over a week (according to the company I purchased from) to be delivered. My appointment was scheduled, I waited all day, missed work and still no item was delivered. I called back twice. The first call, I spoke with the same man who set up the delivery. He said he would see if he could contact the driver and call me back. Didn't hear back for 3 plus hours. Called again and a woman claimed that I never spoke with the man who I first spoke with (I still have the first voicemail from him) and that there is nobody by his description that works there (guess I have a voicemail from a ghost). This woman said that there isn't even a package with my name and that it must be under another name. I only have the one name. She finally figures out that I do have a package and tells me that they can't find their driver. What? So, even more time goes by, still no package, still no call. I contact the sender and they finally get ahold of Saia and they tell the sender that they just can't get it to me today and they will have to reschedule. Still no phone call from Saia to reschedule, no update on anything. Poor customer serviceand unable to deliver on scheduled delivery times. This is completely unacceptable.
