Some of the staff need to really learn to be respectful and learn privacy laws. I have never been so disrespected by front desk staff until I had my appointment, the girl that checked me in on the right side of the desk of the right side of the building was extremely rude and disrespectful. She had the audacity to tell me that my mother had been in the previous week to see Carla Walker and why she was seen!! Completely violated my mother's privacy, as a former clinic registrar I guess HIPAA doesn't apply to this front desk employee!! The check out receptionist wasn't any better! After I had lab drawn I was sent out the opposite side and the employee on the left was extremely short with me. She was extremely condescending when she was answering my questions. I was left speechless, it's embarrassing that the two front desk employees I dealt with are representing the clinic and Mercy in such a disgusting manner!! It saddens me that the sweet Hispanic employee on the left side was apologizing for how her coworker was speaking to me!! I, as well as my entire family, will definitely be changing primary care doctor as this is not how any person should be treated!! It's embarrassing to know that all the clinic manager did was apologize, but never offered any resolution!

My elderly mother experienced a fall in her home and needed to be taken by ambulance. I ask the EMT driver to take her to Fayetteville Washington Regional but unfortunately they only go to Fort Smith so Mercy it was... I've known a couple people that have worked at Mercy and they refused service there for themselves or family....so I was going in skeptical. The hospital is nasty for starters. The emergency room was the first disappoint with a rude unprofessional staff. Once my mom was moved to a room and had surgery it was almost impossible to get an update from a staff member. Nobody seems to take ownership of a patient and never returns a phone call when you call them for an update. When you go to the patient's room or speak to nurse on the floor ....nobody seems to know anything or even care. I'd never take anyone I care about to Mercy Hospital Fort Smith EVER again!

Do i have to give a star. They don't deserve one . I already posted a bad review, on my terrible stay. But, now I need documentation for a hospital indemnity claim. For three weeks I have called and texted , to get my ub04 , I have 30 days to send to voya, or my case is closed. No answer from them on this. I promise if I they cause me to lose this claim, they can forget about ever seeing a penny from me. This hospital used to be good , but now has very poor management that has decided offering the worst customer service there is, is ok.

Great hospital great doctors for birth but rude nurses that wear fake nails and cut my newborns gum and wouldn't help me really when I asked about my C-section on how to properly move to help the pain and for help getting up very rude about it that she can't help me and that I need to figure it out they should never let any nurses wear fake nails in labor and delivery she also then rushed him straight to the nicu after she cut his gum

I only give this place 5 stars for Dr Kahn I believe his name is, Nurse Allen and Nurse Andie, I would never recommend anyone to have to deal with nurse Lorrie, she treated my mom like absolute garbage just for asking a question and treated me like I didn't know my own pain, other than that this is an amazing hospital and I would recommend it to anyone just make sure you don't get Nurse Lorrie, she will disappoint you very much!!

Going on a 5.5 hour wait for my 82 year old mother. Lots of pissed people waiting while watching nurses bring food and drinks for a party in the back. Ask for assistance to help her go to the restroom. After 3 requests, and 45 minutes later, finally got help. I suggest driving to Fayetteville if you have an emergency.

I experienced a surprisingly low level of customer service from what I would call a robotic and compassionless person here. I contacted another provider in the area and chose the alternate instead of mercy. I'd suggest changing their name to "Merciless."Having seen their other reviews here, it is obvious that this place sucks!

We had our son at Mercy Labor and delivery in Fort Smith. Lisa Newton was great, the nurses were nice and efficient, however medical records completely messed up our sons name. His name is now incorrect on his Birth certificate, social security card and insurance card. It has been a hassle trying to get his name corrected and it has already been 3 weeks since our son has been born and it still hasn't been updated. We also have to contact social security and the insurance company to correct his name also, but we can't precede until the hospital fixes his name! We shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops, but because of the mistake the hospital made it looks like we'll have to. We're extremely disappointed and upset and hope they resolve this issue soon!

F****** dogshit hospital, you have 5+ hour wait times for absolutely no help. Don't bother. I wish I would've driven Fayetteville rather than this shitty hospital.

I have nothing bad to say about this hospital. The staff was amazing from check-in to release. I would like to give a special thanks to Blake (ER nurse), Whitney and Payton (ER nurses), Cassandra (CT Scan technician), Amber (my transport from ER to a regular room), and Jessie, Jessica, and Regina ( my regular room staff ) for all the care and professionalism that y'all displayed while I was there. Y'all were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much. I wish I could leave a 10-star review

My mother is up on the covid ward right now dying this could be her last night on earth and all they can say is she's been asking for you all day we can set you up with a video call if you want however when me and my sister both tried to contact them it wouldn't connect so they're having trouble with their internet you would think for me to see my mother they would do more than hand her the phone so I could hear her gasping for breath when they walked out of the room, also whenever I ask the nurse if they'd given her her pain medication the nurse said that my mother had been a lot of trouble trying to pull the tube out or the the breathing machine away from her face so she'd been trouble so they couldn't give her her medicine they couldn't give her what she referred to as that methadone she can't help what kind of medication she's on and she also can't help that she's on a quote handful of pills, can you guys seriously get your Internet fixed so I can at least see my mother's face one more time before she dies and not just hear her gasping for breath that was the worst sound I think I'd ever heard in my life hearing my mother in so much pain and gas being like that and no one was there to help her I asked her where the nurses were she said she didn't know why wouldn't they call us why wouldn't they call us if our mother was trying to get a hold of us they had everyone's phone number I am so mad right now and I can't even go up there to visit my mother you guys need to check your nurses for their attitudes seriously they need to have a lot more patience and they need to keep the attitude at home they get paid to take care of these people they get paid to take their stuff yes they get angry when they're low on oxygen people on Mount Everest take their clothes off when they're low on oxygen people do crazy things when they're low on oxygen it is the ward that you're currently working on except it or find another job

This hospital should have zero stars. A friend of mine had her loved one as an inpatient here. The elderly woman was not a hospice patient, but was badgered into signing up. It was lies on a daily basis. She should have gotten better and then been discharged. She wasn't. When she demanded to leave, they quickly drugged her and she died. This type of treatment should shut any participating hospital down

I was in the Trauma Center for a week. The 4400 unit staff made me feel more like friends and family caring for me. There is nothing I could say that needs improvement. Doctors were excellent and kind as well.
