I've been renting at this location since May 2017, and they have been through three managers since. Every manager has been fair and understanding, and tries to make a reservation happen. I have yet to have a bad experience. I rent regularly from them to take trips out of town on business.There was even a case in May 2019 where they wouldn't be open on a Saturday, but they honored my reservation and had the other Hertz location in Fort Smith give me a car. Well, at the other location, the lady at the desk was rude, not helpful, and almost cost me my big engagement in Houston that day. The airport Hertz manager apologized profusely when he found out, ripped the other Hertz manager, and I got a discount on my next rental.The current manager, Alexa, is very helpful. They are the best place in Fort Smith to rent a car.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Bill Green, the manager is a dishonest person. I will never rent from Hertz again and recommend you don’t either. If I could give them a minus 2 stars I would.When I rented the car the young lady told me she was charging me for insurance since I did not have proof of insurance with me but to bring it with me when I returned the car and they would take it off of my bill. When I returned I brought the proof of insurance with me and Bill Green was working the desk. I told him the situation. He started to take the insurance charge off and then started lecturing me like I was a child about how I should have handled it. I told him I didn’t need a lecture and please finish so I could be on my way. He then refused to refund the money back to me and order me to leave. I asked security to come and they did. I explained the situation even asking Bill Green if he had said he would refund the money and he flat out lied and said he did not say he would. I’m filing a complaint with corporate. I have the conversation on my phone Bill Green.

I highly recommend Hertz at Fort Smith, AR airport. Bill the manager is Super, he's very professional and down to earth and assisted me with my reservation.

Overall experience was really good. The staff was friendly and helpful upon checking in and out. I was given a 2020 Blazer w/ 7300 miles. Loved that! Only complaint is how expensive the extra charges tacked on if you’re under 25. I’ve never had a ticket on my record, but still got charged $30/day extra for being 22 years old.?I guess it doesn’t matter how responsible you are when there are ignorant young people out there. One other thing.. don’t be a bit late. I was a little later in the evening than I’d scheduled to come back and it costed over $80.

reserved a Yukon 4x4 online but when i showed up they only had a suburban which is fine, he told me it was 4x4 but it was actually NOT. the guy had no clue what the car had and what it didnt. then he charged me $20 more than the online prices telling me “idk what they are doing online, sometimes they screw up”. proper thing would be to look at my online receipt and honor that price... but that was ok, i was willing to pay more until i get to the vehicle, 96k mile, no 4x4 option, making all kinds of noises as i turned it on, tire tread is almost gone. i was going to be driving out of town on bad road conditions in snow, no way i am taking this POS.

Do not use this company! We returned a vehicle FULL of fuel and they still charged us after the fact for fuel. When I called, they were completely unhelpful and some what rude. I will never use Hertz again.

I really didn’t appreciate being threatened with arrest by the employee at your Fort Smith, AR location this morning over a billing issue. I called your customer service line and was told by the representative that took my complaint that all she could was send the complaint to the manager of the location because it is a privately owned franchise. She could not assure me I would have recourse in case the manager acted in the same manner. I would have hoped that you would take more care in the people you let use your brand.
