I recently had a couple of experiences with Arvest Bank that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. While I've had positive interactions with them in the past, my recent encounters have shown a decline in their customer service quality.Firstly, I needed to request a form to change my payment amount. On two separate occasions, I called the bank and was assured that the forms would be emailed to me promptly. Unfortunately, I never received the promised emails, forcing me to make a trip to the branch to pick up the forms in person. This inconvenience was both time-consuming and frustrating.Additionally, when I called to inquire about paying off a loan, I was told by a representative that the final payment would be processed automatically through the regular recurring payment. However, when the automatic payment date arrived, the payoff amount was not deducted from my account. I had to contact Arvest Bank once again, only to be informed that final payments need to be manually submitted and do not auto-withdraw. This contradictory information added unnecessary confusion and further delays to the process. It is disheartening to witness such a decline in the customer service standards at Arvest Bank. Previously, their customer support was top-notch, but now it seems to have deteriorated to a bottom-tier level. These incidents have not only caused inconvenience but also wasted my time and caused unnecessary frustration.I hope Arvest Bank takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements in their customer service department. Customers rely on efficient and accurate information to conduct their banking transactions smoothly, and it is important for the bank to deliver on their promises consistently.

How is a bank gonna charge me to cash a check that is written on THEIR bank? Because i dont have an account with them. Maybe thats one of the reasons i dont have an account with them. If they are gonna charge me...without an account....i wonder how much they would charge me if i did have an account. This is ridiculous! I could just deposit the check into my account at my bank, but then i would have to wait for it to clear. Way to go arvest in finding another way to take money out of peoples hand. Its written on your bank!!!

Appalled at the “customer service” my husband, our baby and I just received at this location. Totally ignored when we walked in, and passed up in line by the rep and whoever walked in behind us.No one even asked us if we had been helped.Thank you to the man who was kind enough to open the door for us; you were a customer still trying to count the money in your hand. You should work there and teach them some manners.

Literally the slowest arvest bank in Fort Smith. Even if you have just one car in front of you, expect to wait 30+ minutes until it's even your turn. Absolutely ridiculous. I've never had a good experience here. Drive the extra couple of miles and go to the one in Rogers Ave.

Great customer service "with a smile", by employees who seem genuinely concerned with making my experience as quick and pleasant as possible. Always friendly and smiling - not a robotic smile, but people who actually enjoy helping and doing a good job. Very efficient workers, so I'm always in-and-out quickly, even if there are a few people ahead of me. I always leave feeling like a valued customer, not just another account number.

Been an account holder for years with my mom. Soon it'll just be in my name but I'm not in a hurry to leave Arvest.
