Bought three herbs and they looked bad after a week. I went in and showed them to a young lady at the counter and asked for help. She said the plants were covered with bugs and tried to sell me some triple use plant med spray. Well,.. that's an amazing marketing tool....sell plants, with bugs, and then sell the cure. Won't be returning.

As with any retailer best to shop around. However, kudos to the store on Weddington. This is the main store and they have some really good deals with quality plants which are priced right. With the majority of the big stores selling Bonnie products at a substantially higher price. Appears Bonnie has fixed the price since regardless of which store you shop if they have Bonnie plants then the price and quality is the same. I prefer Westside Gardens for Veggie plants. Also since it is local reinvest in the community.

This is one of the best nurseries I have been to! They have just about every plant you can imagine, and their staff are very knowledgeable about the products. I had previously bought a Christmas Cactus, which lasted a very long time, and I was very excited to see those plants there during the holidays. It was a tradition in my childhood to always get a Christmas cactus during Christmas and now I can keep up that tradition. They also have Bird feeding tools/supplies as well. It can be a little pricey, but overall, I would recommend them! Be aware that on a busy weekend, the parking situation will not be good. It is almost always filled up and since it is right next to a busy street, it can be difficult to figure out where to park.

Wonderful selection!! Unfortunately, horrible customer service. I spoke with an older woman about recommendations on full sun plants. She was extremely condescending and just flat out rude. I highly recommend traveling a little further west to Chicken Holler where they treat you like a human.

I was in the middle of big home landscaping job and needed extra help with some plants that I was putting in my garden. Penelope helped me so much. She took the time to walk around with me to discuss different plants and to help me match them to existing plants. She even loaded my car when I was done. From start to finish she was so helpful and kind! I will definitely come back for future landscaping jobs. Thank you! Keep up the good work!

I asked the lady that was working there about a plant I have and showed her a picture and she was able to help so much. And I found some pots I'll be buying in about a month to transfer my other plants and their the only ones that have the large size that I need

The plants have a price tag but the mealy bugs are free. I have visited numerous times. I purchased a hens and chicks in 2021. I trusted Westwood and unfortunately did not isolate it. I had a mealy bug infestation due to that plant that nearly wiped out my giant collection. I miss the variety offered so I recently let family convince me to return for a plant shopping day (currently 2022). I purchased a string of turtles, a neon pothos, and a variegated Hoya compacta (hindu rope plant). I isolated this time out of pure fear. The string of turtles has already shown its mealy bug infestation. If this is your last resort, be extremely careful of what you’re introducing to your own collection.I have never wrote a review. I just hope this keeps you from suffering with pests from Westwood gardens the way I have.No pictures included because I only considered writing a review after soaking my plants in neem oil and subsequently seven dust as a last resort.

I've gone here a handful of times since moving here and I love the large selection of plants they offer, especially the variety of vibrant flowers thus time of year. They even have pumpkins during Autumn and Christmas trees during the winter which I think is quite nice! I have several pothos I've purchased at this nursery that I've had for a couple years now and have been propagating myself and like coming here for my garden flowers. As a bonus, they also have some cute pots and planters!
