Recently started going to Stanton Animal Hospital for my two dogs. I have a very high anxiety German Shepard Mix. She is a lot of work to handle and they were great. Saw Dr. Anthony and she had a great assistant (sorry can't remember his name). They listened to everything I told them about her and reacted accordingly. It takes 3-4 people to hold her so she can be sedated. And they don't mess around, they are super fast but gentle, which is exactly what she needed to keep the stress time to a minimum. She has since been there twice, once for a tooth extraction and yesterday for a lump to be cleaned and removed. Again, they are great. Not only that but was quoted around 400-450 for yesterday's visit and then stated it didn't take as long so they charged way less. Even if it was double i would still go back to them. They have been the best vet and clinic and i am fortunate to have found them when i relocated to the area.

Wish I could take this Veterinary Clinic with me and my new 5 year old pug back to California. Thank you Dr Stanton!

The best vet/veterinarian I have ever had. They are very attentive and address all issues and concerns. This happens from the moment you walk in until you walk out from the counter staff to the doctors and everyone in between. They are fantastic.

all 5 doctors that currently work here truly care about their clients. They also have a pharmacy, sell rx pet food and have boarding for those with medical needs. I have taken my pets to many places but enjoy the consistency that I get when I bring them here.

i absolutely do not recommend this vet!!! katelyn was very rude to me, cutting me off in the middle of my sentences, yelling over me, and basically calling me a liar, when i was trying to explain to her how i've been trying to get vet bill assistance through non profit organizations, which they knew because i had a $50 voucher from humane society of the ozarks, that was used to diagnose him with an upper respiratory infection, and to cover his antibiotics, and i was explaining how messed up the system is, when it comes to getting help for you sick pet. i was in the middle of telling katelyn that i was still trying to get assistance though non profit organizations, when she cuts me off and says to me: "oh, so your telling me that your just now trying to get assistance, and that you've been lying to us this entire time!!!???" i told her that it was a different organization that i was talking about, and told her to get her facts straight, before making a stupid comment like that, to me!!! i called them back, today, and got the same treatment from katelyn, who accused me of having an attitude, when i only made the simple comment that i'm almost positive that their vet told me that they would re evaluate him for free, since he seemed to be mis diagnosed, using my only voucher, which was my only hope at getting my cat back to health!!! wasted!!! the antibiotics didn't cure him completely!!! they seemed to be helping, and i was going to get another round for him, but he's got a new symptom. pain. i told the vet today, and do you think they cared enough about me and my cat to treat him, and allow me to make payments on his vet bill??? nope!!! still declined, and still being treated like a piece of toilet paper!!! katelyn accused me of having the attitude, when in fact it was her having the attitude!!! those non profit organizations that claim to help with vet bills are all rigged for failure, and are only a "catch-22"!!! they require a vet to fill out a form, stating the animals diagnosis, prognosis, treatment plan, and a estimate on how much the bills going to be. well, you can't get that information without a vet doing the required procedures and tests on your pet, to determine what's wrong, so that they can put that information in the document needed for the non profit organizations. but, here is the catch... all veterinary clinics require payment up front, immediately, for the services performed on your sick pet!!! so, your the one that's going to be responsible for payment, because obviously you can't just wait around the clinic, for a couple of days, waiting on the non profit organization to come through for you, with vet bill assistance... so, it's actually a double middle finger up to your face, by them!!! stanton animal hospitals website even actually says that their clinic focuses more on their long term customers, and basically that they treat them better than someone like me, who has really never had to take a pet to the vet before, and with me being a new customer... so, i guess nobody cares enough about my sick cat, to do anything about it, because they are too worried about their wallets getting fatter!!! all they care about is your ability to pay for a service that should be much more affordable to the less fortnite!!! vets are so expensive, and they can get away with it, because the customers are too concerned about the well-being of their sick pet, to stop and think... these prices are outrageous!!! then, they blame you for not being able to afford the proper care for your pet, and they make you feel guilty, by giving you a hard time over the phone, when your already in tears, because you can't find any financial help for your sick pet!!! so, stanton animal hospital??? you can thank katelyn for this nice review!!! and thanks a lot for "treating my cat" and allowing me to make payments on his vet bill!!! i thought you cared, and that it was your goal to treat sick pets, regardless of age, ethnicity, or ability to pay those outra

I have considered Stanton's my only vets for years and years. I never had an animal I didn't take here, up until now. In February, a pet they had seen was having an emergency. I called them. They said someone would call back. I called again after no call. The staff that day was rude and again told me someone would call back and hung up on me. The pet died. I am still waiting for that call back. Today, I receive a flyer in the mail reminding me to bring said pet in for his appointment for shots, etc. I call them and tell them what is happening. I again speak to an incredibly rude woman named Katelyn or Gaitlyn (she didn't speak clearly then refused to say her name again). I told her what happened. I just want them to stop sending me "friendly reminders" to bring the dead dog in for its shots when they couldn't even call me back and hung up on me in February during the fatal emergency with this pet. Things happen and all life ends. I get that. But, being treated badly by the staff during this time does not have to happen. And, today, same story. Ms. Katelyn or Gaitlyn also hung up on me.

A couple of years ago, my dog suddenly became very sick. Stanton Animal Hospital got him in right away, quickly diagnosed him, and communicated everything to me so clearly. I went from being a nervous wreck to completely at ease and confident in their plan. I was so impressed with them that I drive all the way from Wisconsin to have my dogs' teeth cleaned. They are the BEST!

I was anxious moving here from another state and switching vets with two elderly dogs. My nephew recommended Stanton and Dr. Smith. In just 3 months we have had to make 3 visits and we are so happy to have found this place. Dr. Smith is amazing and so are the staff members. The place looks and smells clean too which matters. So thankful to have found this place.

I was referred to Stanton Animal Hospital after telling a co-worker how expensive my dogs vaccinations were going to be at the vet I normally take them to. After getting a quote over the phone I brought both my dogs in. Veterinarian Miranda Anthony was outstanding! She administered both of their vaccines and trimmed their nails. I walked out saving a total of $160 compared to what our usual vet charges. I'm excited that I have found an honest veterinarian who not only cares about my animals but my checking account too!

The BEST vet I’ve ever used. Our dog (Roxy) was scheduled for an ACL repair this week, and her pre-surgery blood work came back abnormal. She was acting a little strange (not eating) prior to surgery, but I attributed that to her hurt leg. Dr. Kim ran additional tests to find out what was wrong with Roxy and spent 2 full days with her to make sure she was back to normal. Low and behold, she tested positive for Addison’s disease. If Dr. Kim had not caught it, there was a good chance Roxy would have died or ended up in the ICU for a long time. After getting the necessary medications, today, Roxy is mostly back to normal! She’s eating again, playing with toys, and is her old, happy-self. I can’t recommend Stanton enough because their office cares so much about the animals!

Really like the doctors, but the front desk girls are extremely rude and I can't really figure out why. Every single time I go at least one of them has an attitude. My very first appointment I showed up and they told me I wasn't scheduled until the following week, but I requested that specific day due to being off work. They tried to argue with me as if it was my fault when I knew exactly when the appointment had been scheduled for and I knew exactly what the girl on the phone had told me. The second time I went they accidentally overcharged me by about $100. Luckily I caught it and called back in and they fixed it. They also told me they couldn't microchip my dog one day because it takes too long. I asked the doctor about it and he seemed confused why I was told that and did the microchipping, which took about 10 seconds. I'm currently on my 3rd or 4th week of waiting for them to reply to an email I've sent twice (because when I call I get put on hold every time and it isn't an emergency, but just something I need done) and they NEVER reply to emails which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.

Yesterday I dropped my 6mo kitten off at Stanton Animal Hospital to be fixed. My initial interaction with the staff was pleasant, but I later received a call that they made a "mistake" during the procedure and had docked my kitten's ear, as they do with strays. Nearly took off the entire ear. This act of malpractice not only caused me immense stress but made a permanent alteration to the cat's appearance as well as cause unnecessary pain to the animal. When I went to pick her up the doctor did not have the decency or courage to discuss the matter in person, he sent a tech in to talk to me. After waiting distraughtly in a back room, the tech briefly went over aftercare instructions and made me feel like my concern with the situation was minimal. I would not trust this vet with my pet, we will not be returning.
