UPDATE: The owner reached out & assured me this is not the norm for their store. Like I said in my original review, I would still go back and shop if I’m in the area, as well as shop from afar via their Instagram!____The store itself was great. There was a nice selection of vintage, I ended up with a 90’s Gap denim work jacket which I love! I was just left with a slightly bad taste in my mouth in regards to the customer service. When we pulled up & parked on the side, I could see a girl sitting on the back deck. I’m fairly certain she saw us get out of the car, but maybe she didn’t. We walked into the store and no one was in there. I looked around for 5 or so minutes before she finally walked in from the back door & said hi to us. She then went right back outside. I kept looking around, making my way through the store and then outside to the aforementioned deck, where the sale rack was. The employee was sitting behind the rack, just eating & video chatting with someone. She had no sightline into the shop because the rack was blocking her… I could’ve just walked out of the store with merchandise & I don’t think she would’ve even noticed. I went back inside to try on the jacket, and finally had to go back outside to interrupt her phone call to ask if I could purchase something. She wasn’t rude or anything, I just barely had any interactions with her. I understand having to find time to eat while on the job, I work at a locally owned boutique in Kansas City & am not always able to take an actual lunch break & have to sneak bites of food in between helping customers. But to be outside, out of view from what was going on inside the store, eating and chatting away while a customer is inside just seemed so weird to me! Makes me wonder how many sales she missed out on that day because people walked in & didn’t see anyone inside working. With all that being said, I would still go back again if I’m ever in the area….maybe she was just having an off day (it WAS unseasonably warm & I would’ve rather been outside too).

At first glance I really liked the store. I found a sweater that I liked and looked for the tag to see where/when it was made. There was no tag sewn into the sweater. The store tag stated 90's vintage crew neck cardigan. I purchased the sweater for $46. Later I found a small tag in the sweater that said Target 2016. Totally not vintage. These gals are scammers. I would doubt much of there merch is actually vintage. It's a shame. I could have returned the sweater but didn't want to go back into their store. Thankfully I love my 2016 "vintage" cardigan that was probably originally $30 which I paid $46 for.

Love this vintage boutique - I visit every time I come to Fayetteville. The store is cozy and welcoming and the staff is kind and helpful. And the selection of clothing and accessories is top-notch.

I found some cute items to send to my best friend. Prices were reasonable, and the friendly staff helped me ship the gift directly since I was visiting from out of town.

Such great fun here, vintage style that’s clean, neat and well presented. All the ladies I’ve worked with are so pleasant. I try to stop in anytime I’m in Fayetteville and they are a great follow on instagram?

Came in 45 minutes before the store was supposed to close- door was locked with nobody in sight. I checked their social media pages to see whether they would be closing early or something and saw nothing indicating they would be. Tried calling with no answer. As I was turning around to leave, a girl came to the door and said she had stepped away for a minute and that they'd be closing soon. I told her I was looking for one thing and I'd be fast, which is something your customers shouldn't have to say when you still have 45 minutes until you'll be closing. I looked around a few minutes and asked the same girl if she could pull something off the mannequin so I could try it on. She didn't respond, but asked me what time it was. It was still 30 til closing.. When I told her the time, THEN she took the clothes off the mannequin and let out a huge exaggerated sigh of contempt. As I was trying on clothes, she was knocking around loudly and rushing back and forth past us and reminded us again that they would be closing soon. I was in there probably 20 minutes tops and made a point to hurry just because the whole experience was so uncomfortable and the shop girl was so rude. I bought a top and some pants and I really regret doing so. The customer service was god-awful and I've never felt so unwelcome in a store before. I've worked retail a long time and I know it's sucks having someone come in close to closing time, but that wasn't the case here. I was rushed out of the store with plenty of time until they were supposed to be closing. Absolutely horrible customer service, and I won't be coming back as this isn't the first time I've had poor customer service from here. Hire actual shop girls, Grey Dog. So far I've only gotten 'helped' by wannabe Instagram models with nothing but contempt for their customers.

One of the best vintage shops I’ve been to. Well designed store, well curated pieces, and prices aligned with quality and rarity. What I’m most impressed by is the variety of sizes. I spotted plenty of dresses and even pants that were mid-size friendly!

As always, Grey Dog has a wonderful curated selection of vintage and vintage looking clothes. Not all of them are vintage, but they do have some great items. The inside of the store is really cute, and they definitely have good gifts for boho lovers. The woman working was very sweet as well. I do agree with another reviewer that the curtains for the changing rooms leave a lot to be desired, they have at least 6" gaps on either side. I was also disappointed by the other shoppers when we went, as they were just hoarding items in their changing room and I feel like we missed out on seeing what they didn't want. I'm not sure if the store could do anything to help that, but since each item is so unique it would have been nice to not see 20+ items hanging out in a dressing room.

Unassuming from the outside, this light filled meticulously curated vintage boutique is absolutely worth its five star rating. Molly’s taste is very exquisite. In Grey Dog, you can find vintage silk, vintage Levi’s, rugs from all over, accessories, and gorgeous sweaters in great condition. I normally stay from buying vintage leather but I made an exception due to the amazing quality It’s one of the best vintage stores I’ve ever been to. If vintage is your style, you want to come here. Last but not least: Mara the grey (and white) dog with two different color eyes will be at the door to say hello.

Really cool place, I love shopping here! My only critique would be to switch up the changing room 'door'. It's a flimsy curtain that does not close completely and I feel like everyone can see me changing.
