I’ve been here twice and they were great both times. I’ve interacted with 3 staff members and they all took the time to explain to me what they would be doing- even if I didn’t really understand (shout out to Amanda). They have great prices and the staff is beyond kind. My back screen was broken and one staff member (I think his name was cole) even saved the stickers on my phone for me to reuse! Overall great service and great people!

I took in my boyfriends phone for touch issues but the manager ended up not being able to fix it and sent it off to be fixed out of state (keep in mind I took it in August 16th) he said it would take 2 weeks. So we waited the 2 weeks never got a call that it was fixed or an update about the phone so I went in and he said there was more problems than what they thought and said they were still working on it…more weeks pass still no updates so I call and he says it’s not fixable so we ask for him to at least get the phone mailed back..when we went in he switched up and said the phone was turned on and did end up getting fixed and it would be here in a week and that was the end of September. That week passes still no call so I waited one more week and call again and one of his employees say it’s there and ready to pick up..when I go in the guy said that they ended up not being able to turn on the phone and it was not fixed but that I could take the memory board and put it into a different phone (same model) he wanted to charge me $250 just to take the phone because they fixed the cracked screen?. I take the memory board to another place and they told me that the person who took it apart ripped the plates. I waited 2 months just for them to mess up the phone more than it was when I took it to them. I do not recommend them!!! They have poor communication, they lie & they get these good reviews and 5 stars because they have a sign when you go in that if you give them good reviews you get a free case.

At first I was impressed by the number of reviews this place had, but that was quickly offset when I noticed a sign that stated, "free phone case for a 5 star review." First impressions: you have to bait business in here with fraudulent reviews. What happened to quality business as a means to establish reputation?Second, management didn't even know the circumstances surrounding the reason why I brought my phone in in the first place. I received a call earlier that my device had been repaired and was ready for pick up. I initially brought my phone in because it was stuck in a boot up cycle. Zen Gadgets was under the impression that my phone would not boot up at all. So I got charged for $90 for labor and materials that did nothing to fix my problem.Third, the first representative I spoke with declared that I would receive a refund provided their services didn't work. I had to impose this on management, otherwise they would have let me walk out the door. I only got a portion back which I can sympathize with considering they still have to commit time and energy.Last, and probably what really compromised my trust was the identity politics. Management assured me that their gender did not disqualify them from quality service despite the fact that gender wasn't even an issue that was brought up. This is a classic red herring attempt to make the problem about something other than poor business decisions and bad quality. I understand now why they offer free phone cases for fake 5 star reviews.
