I brought my freshly adopted 7 yo Golden Retriever here for a checkup and shots. People were friendly at first. They told me my dog had heartworms. While I understand it is serious, they retested him twice to “confirm” it. After, they gave me a pitch for a fast kill and a slow kill option. The fast kill was going to end up being about $2000 and the slow kill roughly $40 a month for a pill I can get off Amazon. They knew I was a 19 year old girl who simply can’t afford $2000 for medicine. After telling them I can’t afford the fast kill option, they had three separate women (1 that hadn’t been in the room before this) come in and attempt to talk me into starting a go fund me and “talking” up his story because anyone would donate to a helpless dog. His story however was not sad and I am obviously not going to lie to get money out of people. This seemed extremely fishy to me and I believe it is unethical to try to bribe me into intentionally lying to get money. I won’t be coming back here after that, they seemed to care at first but then it turned into a money scheme.

I'm so disappointed in this clinic. I have taken all my pets there for decades and always loved them. I assume that when Dr Thompson retired, a corporation bought the clinic because the pricing structure is now shocking to me. The number of add on costs is frankly insulting. The price of a bordatella booster or a heartworm test without seeing a vet has doubled because of all the new fees. Dental cleanings are double. The front desk is cold. You can talk to a tech or a nurse if you're insistent, but they'd rather text. Or the corporation would rather they text. A nurse told me by text they'd never seen my dog for a particular issue and wouldn't prescribe meds until they did. They'd seen her twice for it, which is in her records. I'm grieving the clinic that was
This has disrupted my pets' healthcare, and I think it's sickening.

Employees and the vet doctor were quick to assist in treating my 2 dogs. They gave the shots and we were on the road. Thanks

The staff here is ultimately amazing. We had gotten a pet from Friends of Prairie Grove pound. They do the follow up care for FofPG. Liked them so much we moved our other dog #HausieTheAussie over to receive his care there.

Probably the worst place my boyfriend and I could’ve chosen to take our start kitten we found. Neither of us had really owned a cat ourselves and we found a stray 6 week old kitten at work, so we took her here and told us they would give her a dewormer and never gave us more dewormer to give her or mentioned that she would need more, so we thought she would be safe and almost three weeks later we find out she still has worms. We were also told that they thought she didn’t have ringworm, but they did a culture test anyways and would call us in 5-10 days. Two weeks go by and still received no call, so we both called separately and they told us we were not in the system even though I have a $110 receipt from them. Finally had to go in person and they finally found our name, but by this point we already know she has ringworm because we got it, so the $50 test was a waste of time and money. They tell us the vet has been out of town, so the call back was missed, which really isn’t a valid excuse and said it’s been happening a lot. They didn’t offer us the money back for the test that was a waste of our money and this whole time they weren’t really nice ever. So this $110 visit was a waste of time and money and solved nothing for us. Please do not waste your time and money here.

terrible. we brought our 8 puppies for their 6 week shots and told them that one of them was having trouble eating and was sick and they told us just to do milk replacement and if that doesn’t work to check up with them and reassess and it didn’t and our puppy got really sick and so we called them and they said they couldn’t get us in because they had too many appointments. so did they not mean it when they said to check up with them? we found another animal hospital and when we took our pup there, they said she was near death. thank goodness they took the time to get our pup in.
