It is an older hotel so no elevator but it was so nice! The service we received, Chris was our main poc during our stay and he was so nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel has charm and being on the main strip without being directly on it was perfect. We hope to be back soon.

I've visited Eureka Springs many times and for the past couple trips I always stay at the Grand Central. I just checked out of room 307, king suite with an excellent, comfortable bed, mattress and blanket set. Cris and Sue are always super helpful and I was very happy to see that the restaurant has reopened. Yes the stairs lean slightly, yes the room floor has a slight slope..lol but if this is not you cup of tea Eureka Springs may not be for you. The hotel is consistently excellent as are the employees. I look forward to my next trip in October.

Bathroom has too many steps. Tripped on the first day. There is no elevator.
It was a roomy studio and close to downtown.

Our stay was amazing. The room was awesome considering the age of the place. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was pretty much the only issue. Went from cold to hell temperature with little to no warning. A microwave would be nice. The restaurant was the best from service to food. Those working there are amazing. They worked so well together and we're so very friendly.
Rooms: The room was amazing.
Nearby activities: The main drag walking distance. We didnt move our vehicle once we got there. Everything so close.
Walkability: Perfect. Far enough it wasn't on main street, but so close to everything.
Food & drinks: 10 out of 10

I cannot praise this establishment enough. We booked on a whim because it was so inexpensive and I am SO GLAD we did. It was an amazing stay. The room was gorgeous! The views were spectacular! The bed was so cozy. We will definitely stay here again.

Great rooms, modern but with a historic feel. Right next to Eureka Live bar/club and a great place to stay for quick access to the historic downtown!

This is a delightful place to stay if you like historical hotels, which we do. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. Chris at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We felt that he really cared that we were there. Parking is convenient and free. We definitely got our money's worth here. They have only one fault-no elevator, so it is not handicapped accessible.

We stayed in Eureka Springs on Sunday the 26th, also known as the
Night the Lights Went Out in Eureka. It should have been a terrible trip. But it wasn't.
When we arrived, Chris greeted us with a big smile, was helpful and kind, making us feel welcome. He patiently explained the electric locks, where to find the best food, and other odds and ends one needs to know about EurekaSprings. He even offered to haul our luggage for us.
We puttered around town until we were tired, returned to our room, and ordered pizza (yes, we know there were better choices, but we wanted something we could have delivered. Life had been complicated and we wanted familiar).
The lights went out shortly after we settled in front of the TV.
We waited, hoping that they would come back on.
They did not.
So we debated leaving, but decided to stick it out.
Stuck in an old hotel without any electricity or hot water, should have sucked. But the room was beautiful, the air cool, the bed was comfortable, and since the night away was supposed to be taking the place of a canceled camping trip, it was actually kind of funny.
But we had to be anywhere in Eureka Springs without modern conveniences, we could have done a lot worse than the Grand Central Hotel.
We will return to try the place out with electricity.

I cannot say enough good things about our girls getaway at the Grand Central! It was FABULOUS. Chris as the front desk was ABSOLUTELY amazing, welcoming, and SO helpful. There are 4 of us and we can be a handful! Vicky (bartender/server) was an absolute doll. Our GORGEOUS 2 bedroom suite was beyond clean (and we are picky) and so lovely. We ate dinner at the tavern and ohhhhhh my was it delicious. The location is perfectly situated to get anywhere in the historic district. I honestly cannot wait to return!
Thank you Chris for putting up with all of us and our shenanigans with grace! You are wonderful!!!

Decided on this place for our anniversary dinner and wow was it great. First our server, Vicki, was amazing. She was professional, yet very personable with us. Treated us like royalty while making us feel like old friends. Took care to make us feel welcome and comfortable and very satisfied. We already plan on this being a regular thing for our anniversary. Would highly recommend this establishment for a fine dining experience. Definitely request Vicki for your server!
Food & drinks: Vicki went al out to suggest items that pleased in every way. Plus her cocktails were delicious.
Noteworthy details: Very elegant and cozy for a romantic evening.

My sister and I stayed here three years in a row for the craft festival at War Eagle. The first two times it was a fun and unique experience. The last time we packed our bags & fled at 1am, because the owners somehow thought it would be a great idea to rent out the restaurant below us for parties. Parties with DJs & amps & microphones & bass that shook our beds & bathtub directly above & went on until 2-3am. We reserved three nights but after two nights of awful sleep deprivation, we couldn't take a third & gave up & went home. We will NEVER go back. $150/night? I wish I could attach the audio files I recorded while I was sitting in the bathtub bc it sounds like I'm in the middle of a raging dance club or bar. It was in fact so unsettling that I gave up on the jacuzzi tub. It's way too weird to feel like you are bathing in the middle of a bar. Whose idea was it to host loud parties in a hotel where people pay to SLEEP? My sister & I will continue to go back for our annual trip, but they have lost us as yearly customers forever.

Great location downtown, comfortable rooms. If issue arises employees respond promptly. Keep in mind old building with old building quirks, but really enjoyed my stay.
Rooms: This is an old hotel with all the charm that comes with it. Don't expect brand new hotel. You are staying in a old building with old building quirks.
