I switched from another local bank to equity a little over a year ago and I’m SO glad I did! The customer service at Equity Bank is TOP tier. I refer to Jeff Agne as my “bank guy” because he takes care of me every single time. Extremely friendly, personable, wonderful guy and very knowledgeable. He deserves a raise! Also, the female teller with red hair and glasses (I always miss her name, unfortunately) is so extremely sweet. The customer service here is reason enough to switch to Equity.

Equity Bank is great, especially at this location. They are very helpful. I have moved several states away and have remained a customer. I do not want to give them up.

Never received my bonus after signing up. Made mistake on my husband's name. They quickly resolved the name and didn't charge for new checks though the link they sent for electronic signing didn't work. But otherwise they are good.

I had my debit card declined for a small dollar online purchase at a local business. I was really frustrated because I had plenty of money in my account to cover the expense AND it was my money not credit. There was no reason in my mind to decline the transaction. I called the bank ready to do battle, then I met Elisabeth. She patiently listened, collected all the relevant details and told me she would look into it. Turns out she actually did. She had a fix early the next day. She discovered it was a glitch with a third party computer algorithm - sigh. She resolved the issue by taking the time to call the vendor and worked to get an explanation as well as a solution. At this point she went beyond what I expected. She personally saw to it the transaction went through, called the business and explained what happened and helped them fix what caused my card to be declined. Things go wrong sometimes. Equity Bank's Elisabeth exceeded my expectations with excellent customer service. Way to go Elisabeth!

The website and login for statements etc has become so slow and frustrating. It was so easy when it was Community First. You have to make multiple attempts to get the login screen to open. Seems before a phone call always got you connected to a live person, now it is always leave a message. I love the staff ( have always felt like family/neighbor with them) and their attention but the " atmosphere / feeling" of taking time with the customer without feeling rushed and taking time to visit with the customer as a community neighbor ( how are you, your family, etc) has changed to a more strict "business" attitude! Instead of stopping by to visit AND do business, just get in do what is needed and leave. It is sad especially when so many banking options are available. The "friendly home atmosphere" is definitely needed as a competitive edge.

We began using Community First Bank in 2010 when we bought a business in the area. Being from a small town, I know what "small town service" feels like and this is it. From Ms. Wilsie and her cookies, business and personal loans, account management where a hug is the norm, to the wonderful friendly tellers, this bank is tops! The conversion to Equity was almost pain free and the problems that did occur were corrected fairly quickly.

My password and acct. number is open for all to see and no one can advise me how to correct this. Also somewhat difficult to balance checking acct. online. Otherwise all is well with employees and other services.
