good things first: the shuttle that they offer is amazing. always ready in practically seconds, clean, friendly driver, takes you anywhere you want in town. great if you don't want to drive up the hill to the crescent or ermilio's or whatever. the front desk workers are very nice and professional and were always available to answer any questions. we had a problem with the tv and we had someone in to fix it within the hour. game room and ballroom are great and beautiful.
onto my gripes. during our entire week-long stay, housekeeping did not come into clean once. there were roaches. i understand that the building is old, but roaches is insane. i saw someone else say this, and yes it is very loud. you can hear the creaking floors of everyone who walks, but that's a given in an old hotel. other than that, the stay was great! balconies on every floor that are great for sitting out and listening to the live music all over town.

The location is great and the convenience of staying here and getting around town was probably the only good thing about this hotel. Between a spa and a 2 night stay it was over $1,000. We were mislead with the pricing of the spa and we ended up having to haul all of our luggage up to the 5th floor with their cart that’s not easy to move. That’s something one would expect from a Motel 6 not when you pay that amount for literally no service from the hotel staff. The waitresses at the balcony restaurant were not friendly and the food was subpar at best. The breakfast comes in a box (if you sign up for one of the “specials”) and again, for the price, one would rightfully expect way more than what they provide you. My wife and I woke up sore from the bed that was incredibly uncomfortable. I get this is an older hotel so you can’t expect modern amenities but if you’re paying a premium price then you should get a premium experience with premium service. I can honestly say you will not get that at this hotel.

Eureka Springs holds onto their very early 1900s legacy. Old buildings, tiny streets, narrow stairs and 4 person elevators. The setting is historicly beautiful. If you are looking for modern Hilton type accomadations, this wonderful landmark will dissapoint you. However if ole 18th, 19th century grandar is your fancy, this place will marvel you.

Could not have asked for a better stay. Loved my room and the hotel is in one of the best locations in town. I love that you can lean into its spooky history (and take a paranormal tour). Or just have a good night on the town. Big fan of the balcony bar, which had live music and friendly bartenders. Will stay here again!
Walkability: It’s close to everything - I enjoyed being able to bounce around town and have a short walk back.

You can't beat the Basin for the location. My wife, our 6 year old, and I got the little larger suite room. It was roomy but old and you could almost say "dilapidated" inside. I get the "hey it's the experience of the old hotel" but jeeze, nicked and outdated furniture, old smelly rugs, are not my thing. I travel a lot and this hotel should have been renovated at least 40 years ago. There is convenience of a restaurant on the second floor, but the food is okay at best. The staff were above average friendly, so that was a good point. Overall hotel experience was enjoyable but a 3 out of 5 star average.

They really made us feel welcome considering we’re younger, and kept it extremely professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable with really good A/C and a hot shower. The breakfast was yummy and kept everything clean and fresh. The employees were so kind and helpful with finding everything. They also have a good hot tub with fresh towels at the door! The shuttle system was even better considering they’re always driving around. Amazing hotel with lovely history.

Very excellent hotel to stay in! It’s right in the heart of downtown where you can explore, shop, and learn about the town. All of the staff are very kind and friendly and will tell you the best places to visit! The shuttle services are always quick and on time and the drivers are such fun to talk to! Everything in this hotel is amazing! Will definitely come to visit again!

Cool building and atmosphere! Very tasty drinks in the bar too, but for some reason they charge a “tourist tax”, so a drink listed as $10 ish ends up being closer to $14ish after this tax (and before tip)….which was a little unexpected for a round of 6 drinks

Historical hotel with quaint rooms, great food, and an excellent location. What a fun town. The ghost hunting tour was lots of fun, and we were able to explore a number of non-public locations in the hotel. A great time.

We were able to get an original room, complete with uneven floors! Haunted feeling through this old hotel. Great roof top bar

Wonderful, historic hotel. Took away one star because they automatically add an 'optional' gratuity for housekeeping that you have the burden of removing during checkout. We did not use any housekeeping during our stay, left our own 'do not disturb' sign permanently on the door, and always state those intentions when checking in. But the hotel is nice and the location unbeatable. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms dark and victoriana, although this maybe the charm. Too dark for me. No USB points.
Rooms: Small and dark. Bathroom no where to put your toilet bag.
