I was sold a car battery by Walmart that was fine, but they did not tell me the terminals were shot and needed replacement. 5 weeks later, the vehicle would not start, so I called Walmart and was told to take the vehicle to a mechanic because they do not replace alternators or starters if either had been the problem. I had it jumped and took the vehicle to Benson's where they saw the terminals were bad, and said they should not have been reconnected to a new battery. The guy who helped me with the jump start earlier also noticed the terminals were bad. I returned to Walmart to see if they would help with the cost of the terminals they should have told me were shot, given I missed 1/2 day of work, and I was accused of lying, saying that I did not call the store that same day (then they realized I had), and that they did not believe me that the terminals needed replacement, even though I showed photos of them all corroded and loose before they were replaced that morning. They did not help with cost of the terminals, and the manager on duty accused me of being a liar on two counts.

The workers are really nice but I have some criticism of this of walmarts services.- tires of the same size can be found cheaper on their website (they don't usually stock the cheapest ones)- they will put them on the rim but they do charge (tires were $53 each, bought 3 and was hoping it would come out to about 160-200 but it ended up costing about 240)- IF your vehicle has tires that are not indicated on the inside of the door, they won't put them on the vehicle (this may only matter if you can't change them yourself for whatever reason)- calling the autocenter is almost never successful in my experience- I have called around to the other 7 tire stores in town and walmart is usually (if you go online!) the cheapest. For example, most tire shops wanted about $200 for a particular set of tires, I ended up getting some for $150 at a local shop but if I had been able to wait I could have paid $90 at walmart BUT, they charge for putting it on the rim (though they say its free, it seems factored into other fees) so it might have been about $120 by the end of it for 1 tire.

I had two tires replaced on my son's car, and Walmart did the job in a fast and reasonable time. We did not have to wait for hours to get it done. Thanks guys!

Back tire had a leak it was Christmas Eve and not many options open so I decided to try Walmart. The man told me my tire was dry rotting and they couldn’t fix it. I went to another place for a second opinion, they said nothing about dry rotting. Fix my tire and was out within an hour. Why do you have a job if you don’t want to work? Wouldn’t recommend !Service: Tires

When we called beforehand asking if they did diagnostics and repairs we were told yes, once we arrived however we were told that the only things they can do is change oil and batteries. Avoid this place like the plague.

Would have been 5 but the guy who was supposed to open didn't show which put me 30 minutes behind. I did save 35% on my tires which I wasn't expecting which is a good trade impo.

I had a terrible experience with the service department! I stood at my car for ten minutes with nobody acknowledging that I was even there for service. Went inside to find help, for an additional 10 minutes I stood at the service desk counter and NOBODY was to be found. I went back outside and had to assert that I was even present to get some help.
