I work with clients who have been placed here and the staff and location treat them as if they are home. They care about these girls and those that leave want to return.

If you see thinking of working here-DONT! I worked here in 2016. Maybe it has gotten better with a new director and better facilities for clients. You will be expected to put up with verbal (and sometimes physical) abuse from clients. There is minimal accountability for how they treat you. You don’t get holidays and vacation days. It seems like a good place on the outside, but don’t be fooled. You also only get paid $12 an hour with no raises and expected to be able to handle every complex situation and behavior. I worked here because I thought it would be good experience and in some ways it was but not worth the mental anguish and having knots in stomach every time you head to work.

I lived there myself. Beautiful house with wonderful staff. I leave a one star because I had to live there in foster care ?♀️. It is what is.

This is not a homeless shelter, it is a group home for girls who are in DHS care. The staff is caring and go above what is expected.
