Was very down to earth
You can tell by surveying the surroundings that the Hardins are there to help you get back on the road
They're not there to get rich
Very accommodating

Steve will give you an honest assessment and not perform unnecessary work to rack up a high charge. He did a first rate job on my son's car and his rates were very reasonable.Service: Electrical repair

Took my car in for brake repair and he quoted me one price and never called with any update. A WEEK later the price he quoted me had doubled! FYI...DO NOT...DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP! He will not call you and he has this attitude that is easy seen if you question him!

My 18 year old son took his car in so they could take a look to see if he needed brakes or not. He called me immediately after leaving to let me know the brakes needed replacement and they would do it for $234+ tax, but also told me they charged $50 to determine the brakes needed replacement. I called to inquire and was told they don't work for free. Furthermore, when I asked if he told my son of the charge prior to "diagnosing" - he admitted that he did not. I assure you we would have taken our business elsewhere. He also laughed in my face, "lady..." VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I use skips foreign car repair and was not charged to check my brakes when he changed my oil; only recommended Hardin because of my own experience 15 years ago and it was also the closest shop for my son. Things have changed!! My son was taken advantage of and want others to be wary of this place. Just a word of advice, let customers know of any charges before doing anything that makes you feel as if you work for free.
