“Austin Brothers offered a prompt and accurate diagnosis of a brake issue with our 2011 Buick Lucerne. They recommended (and we accepted) their offer to replace brake pads on all four wheels for about $420.
A welcome report, since a previous diagnosis based on the same initial report (done a few days ago by another repair shop in Conway) recommended replacing all four wheel bearings at a cost of $1600. I confess I let those devils talk me into replacing the front (only) wheel bearings at a cost of $900+. Viewed with 20/20 hindsight, that was an entirely bogus transaction.
Moral of the story -- when dubious, seek a second opinion. And thank goodness for Austin Brothers!.

“Ever since I got my new engine, A/C was out of the question. But after enduring this summer's heat, I decided it was time. While I had booked an appointment online, I decided to make a call in case they had some room. That's all it took and I was taking my car in the same day. Right when I got there they were beyond friendly and welcoming. They were clear with the pricing and had given me multiple options for affordability. My car was in the shop for 2 days and costed $865 for the diagnostic/ A/C compressor. The A/C runs great, nice and cold. I'll for sure be bringing her back to get the check engine light addressed. Do it right, bring your car to Oak Street Automotive.”
