i love this little store and the sandwiches, but that old lady working the register needs an attitude adjustment and some hospitality!! we grabbed our drinks and when my fiancé asked for a turkey, cheese, mayo sandwich, she thought it was appropriate to roll her eyes and say “you couldn’t have told me that when you walked in?” EXCUSE ME? he did not ask for tomato either, but she put tomatoes on it! her nasty attitude made me rethink wanting a sandwich made by her. we will not be back and IF we do return, i hope that lady has dropped the attitude by then.

Stopped in for cheap gas and was so glad we decided to go in. Great people, great food, great store! They smoke their own meat and slice fresh deli meat. Good selection of menu items. Reasonable prices. They are locals who don’t mind letting you in on the gems to visit in the area. Would stop again just to support a great little store.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars aren’t enough for this friendly little charmer on AR-21, just a couple of miles north of Lake Ludwig. Important to know: It is the last fuel stop for 75 miles if you’re traveling north.Red Lick offers ethanol-free fuel along with 10% ethanol, and it serves a nice breakfast/brunch/dinner menu anytime during business hours as well as offering convenience items (grilling, camping, some staples), frozen treats, and cooler drinks. There are a couple of dining tables inside and picnic table and shaded spots outside. Family owned and operated, Red Lick is our new go-to for fuel and carry-out ??????

Our group stopped off here for gas while on a camping trip on Memorial Day weekend. We got to meet the owner, Austin and his wife, they were great people. Stop by there if you’re passing through.
