If you are a minority here don’t come here to open an account or cash a check thats a larger amount. A teller needed help because I wanted to turn the check into a cashier check for something. I think the teller was new but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was when she went and grabbed the branch manager. The branch manager looked at the check. She looked at my information on the computer, they had my ID, I’ve banked with them for 4 years, I had my work attire on my lunch break . I never had an issue until I came to this branch specifically today. She specifically said “ we have to call the local branch in your area to verify your identity.” I was like “ okay” I didn’t like that because they already had all my information to identify me. They never once called the place that issued me the check to verify the funds. Then the branch manager asked “ this isn’t a scam check is it ?” I said “no?” I was confused and irritated at that point and was ready to leave . She said that in front of the teller. I felt very disrespected, profiled, uncomfortable, and discriminated against because I don’t think she was used to seeing someone that’s a minority coming in with a large check . She automatically assumed that it was a scam by asking me that instead of calling the company that issued the check. Never once the branch manager thought to call the time I was in the bank. Unfortunately I will leaving withdrawing my funds soon and take my business elsewhere to where I won’t get asked if my large check is a “scam check” after already being identified. I don’t understand why would I be treated like this because I’m a minority with a larger check. It created a inconvenience to me and I had to leave and cash the check elsewhere. I am a customer that bank there for years. I have a checking and a savings here. This is truly unacceptable. I hope the manager that I talked today over the branch manager in that bank really do something about this….. I doubt anything will happen because he said he will talk to her and tell her to word things differently. Don’t justify poor behavior. Doesn’t matter what level someone is and their status or how long someone been working there. What he should said is not to flat ask a customer “is this a scam check ?” Really? I wonder how many customer get ask is their check a scam in general when you doing business with someone.

My husband withdraw in there atm machine the cash given was in 20dollar bills. We waited until the bank open and it was very nice that day exchange the money into 100 dollar bills. Staff are accomodating.

Says they have online banking, but if you want to do anything important online you are not allowed. You have to go to the bank.They tout security reasons when you call them. I transferred my accounts to them because it was local bank and had Zelle access. I travel 300 days out of the year. It’s a pain when you have to come home to do something at the bank.Other online banks have easier online access

Love my bank. Laura and Hannah always help me out and I have honestly never been apart of a bank where they remember your name and care about you and your family. Only bank I will ever go to.

I absolutely love this bank. The ladies are kind, & knowledgeable. They always take such good care of us, & our family. Everyone in my family uses them. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our banking needs.
