Claims to be a fed Ex Drop. I’ve dropped off many packages the same size as I attempted to today at the same store. Employee originally tried to scan the package and the said he had to restart the system. As he’s restarting the system he says he can’t take the package. Even though I have dropped off that same size package many times at this location.
I then take the package to another Dollar General in town and they took the package!!!
Not sure why one dollar general could take the package but another couldn’t in the same town. I was told this was told to him by the store manager. Even tho no one else was there at the check out.

I grabbed a 12 pack of cokes that all fell out of the cardboard box as I was walking to the cash register. I had 2 other items in my other hand so I picked those drinks up one by one, struggling as I’m very visibly pregnant, meanwhile 3 employees just watched. One of them was behind the register so I’ll give her that, but shame on the other two who could’ve helped and chose not to. There’s one male employee who is always friendly, but I definitely can’t say the same for the females.

Your "workers" are NEVER THERE TO RING ANYONE UP!! I waited far too long for no one to come check me out today so I had to use the self checkout all while trying to juggle a kid, scan and bag everything in a tiny area so I get to my car and your worker says I didn't ring up all my items and snatched mine and my daughters receipts!!!! Then I was made to bring ALL my bags back in for her to go through then we come to find that it was one single cup for $3 that didn't scan out of ALL my stuff!!!! You not only had a line of customers behind me but your too busy goofing off in the office to come out and help people!!! You treated me like a criminal infront of my child and the way you handled it was piss poor in my opinion!!! So I scanned the one cup paid and went on as she smartly wanted to ask me if I needed my prior receipt she snatched from me!! Customers are there to shop and you have NO cashiers apparently and they'll let the self checkout pile up before helping!! I called for a cashier and still no one showed yet you want to come chase me out the door when it all could have been avoided if you where present to DO YOUR JOB AND CASH PEOPLE OUT!!! WE DON'T GET PAID TO DO YOUR JOB POINT BLANK but apparently you can't even do your job!!! The whole situation could have been avoided and the people in line behind me agreed if your employees would have been there to do their job then she would have seen all of the items and seen the self checkout is too small for the things I purchased!!! Also your clearance item rang up full price so you owe me $5 technically but I'm not going back into this store bc there's NEVER ANYONE THERE TO HELP OR CASH YOU OUT!!! WORST EMPLOYEE'S EVER WORKING THERE TODAY!!! POOR SERVICE AND EVEN POORER ATTITUDES!! Not everyone wants to use your self checkout so you can be lazy and enjoy yourselves in the office!!! You don't snatch anything from anyone let alone a child that came to your store happy to spend her allowance and act like that!!

I went to this Dollar General May 27th, 2023 Couldn’t really shop because shelves were empty, couldn’t get through the aisles with a cart because it was blocked with the mobile shelves full of items that needed to go on the empty shelves! You’ll have to leave your cart in one aisle just so you can walk down another aisle to get what you need! Then you have to cross your fingers in hopes that they didn’t unload your cart just because they thought it was a random cart in the aisle! Your cashier unloaded my cart back onto the shelves and then when you get ready to check out and asked the cashier if he scanned certain items because you’re not seeing it on the screen, only to be told he unloaded your cart back onto the shelves because he thought it was a random cart ! Then to get home to realize he didn’t just unloaded one item he unloaded half of the cart. Now you’re without items that you really needed!! I’m making a report to Corporate as well!

Second time we have stopped by during regular business hours and the store has been closed. No sign on the door at all. There were two white cars parked in the lot. An SUV and a sedan.

Stopped by this store this morning and got there about 15 min. before they opened. I parked and was waiting out side until 8 a.m. About 7:55 a car pulled up and the person walked in the store so I thought they had opened a few min. early. I walked in the store and noticed half the lights still not on. I saw the working employee and apologized and said I would go back out and wait for a few min. The employee in a very rude and condescending voice says "You are literally already in the store". So I said are you sure because it's not a problem. Trying to be as nice and apologetic to this person as I could. She then again in a very rude and condescending voice says "You are literally already standing in the store". I thought okay I'll grab my batteries and checkout. I ask if the register is ready and if not I could use the self checkout or wait. She says in a very rude tone "I am standing right here". At this point I just thought it wasn't worth it so I put my stuff on the counter. I guess I was smiling because as she was checking me out she says very rudely "It's not funny". Now I have had enough and tell her she is the rudest person I have ever met. As I was walking out the door she says "Don't come back". I couldn't believe what was going on. I have never had to deal with a person this rude for no reason. This is the 2nd time I have dealt with this employee at this store too. I didn't return to the store for a while last time. When I did she wasn't there at the time I dealt with her the first time so I kept going back. Never saw her until this morning. I guess she works in the mornings now. Anyways this is the worst I have ever been treated by a store employee.

This store couldn't be more convenient for those of us living out 321. It's the only store for miles! I was so happy to see it go up! I love dollar general anyway and to finally have one so close to home is wonderful!!
