POD 'pickup' and 'delivery' fees were charged throughout and not made clear in the quote. for every location the POD needs to go, be prepared to spend an additional $300 per location.

Very prompt to deliver, pick up and take your money. Charged triple what was quoted. Almost 800$ for less than two months. Hidden charges with no warning, yet fast and efficient.

Misleading and belongings damaged. Use ANY OTHER container company. They were quick to take my money, then strangely couldn't deliver the pod to my new address. This company is a complete joke. Use AFB or Pack rat or Upack.

Working with the PODS company led to the worst moving experience of my life.Key issues:- Quotes are lies. They will quote you one price and charge you more, with no explanation.- Schedules are lies. They will promise one delivery date, and may deliver MUCH, MUCH later than promised without informing you or providing any updates.- Customer Service is nonexistent. If you reach out to their team, they will claim to be trying to work with you, but will not solve any Ops or Billing issues. They will magically find any error "not their fault". They may lie to you about durations for case resolution, too. They promised us 7-10 business days, and took 60 business days to "resolve"Do not work with them. Do not listen to their bald-faced assurances that they care or will help you. They want your money and don't care about your experience one whittle.Their social media team may respond. They are friendly but powerless. If their back office has decided to scam you, the company will act in a unified manner.

Warehouse storage is expensive and beware of 2nd delivery charge if you need that. Phone associates are understaffed, long wait times. You are at their mercy of delivery even though they quote 4 day. I had to wait 2 weeks.Good point was that it's sealed/secure storage.

PODS Underestimated our move. Looked good, but actual invoices higher that major mover when everything is added in...miles, boxes, packing, loading and unloading plus insurance...extra for frustration to manage 3 companies.

So far PODS has been a frustrating experience, although I'm still hoping they will do the right thing. The first POD they delivered had a large gash/ hole in the side. My stuff was going to be stored for several months, and rain/ moisture could have gotten inside and damaged our belongings. They apologized and said they usually inspect them, they weren't sure how that happened. They would send someone out to patch the hole, as I had movers showing up to load it and there wasn't time to swap out PODS. Well my movers got delayed and I got a call that they would instead swap the POD out within the hour... Okay great. The person on the phone told me I had to sign for the new POD delivery. It was NOT explained to me that this was a whole new order that I would be billed for again, and a completely different contract with a significantly higher price than I was quoted originally. So I was charged an additional $560 for the replacement POD and when I called they said the original charge would be refunded within 7-12 days, and I'm still waiting to hear back if they'll honor my original moving quote. Moves are stressful and expensive enough without having to deal with all this... They screwed up and charged me more, it doesn't make sense. Terrible experience, don't recommend.

The customer service was great. All my questions were answered promptly and professionally. The drivers were all very nice and took great care of the container in placement and moving. I was less expensive than using a truck rental and I didn't have to worry about the drive or fuel expense. I will definitely use PODS in the future.

The local drivers for delivery and pick up were very professional. Initial drop off was good. That's were everything for this move stopped being good. Delivery was not close to the date needed even with advanced notice. Delivery date was canceled late the evening before had to pay and cancel movers that were going to clear the pod out into my new ho couldn't move into new house until over a week later. use. Had to get a hotel. On the phone over hour and half just to speak with a manager. Was told resolutions team would contact me in three business days they did not. It's been over a week. One person text me and asked to security pin over text I said I would not text it if you call ill give it over the phone. Apparently they can't call you till you text the pin number which I refuse since it could be anyone or the information can go anywhere from there. So claims still not resolved let alone this set my child's registration back for school so now sends him further away from the house since he was not registered in time due to documents being in the pod and it being rescheduled. Please make sure you look at all options before contacting pods for your move. You can only get in touch with people to get a quote after that good luck especially if you have a problem. Update still no resolution to claims made over 2 weeks ago. So much for response in three business days.
