“One gun, one gunsmith” means top quality firearms. More expensive than most other 1911s, but if you’re looking for the best, it’s Nighthawk. We scheduled a tour. It was amazing. My wife wasn’t excited about it beforehand, but ended up being very impressed.

I want to send a Big Thank You out to Scotty Roberts. I had spoken with him a couple of times so he could try and source me a Sandhawk from one of his Nighthawk dealers. He found one that had just shipped and told me to give the dealer a call. I did and the gun had not arrived to the store yet and was still available. I had it shipped to my local ffl and took delivery of it today. Thank You so much Scotty for finding me this incredible firearm. Thank You David Atchley for such and incredible looking gun. Nighthawk is off the charts with their customer service. Thank You Again!!!!

I was really blessed to visit Nighthawk. It’s not often you see a big company that is so outward and bold in expressing their love of the Lord.

You'll find no better. Beware though, you'll hold one and next thing you know you've traded your collection for one, but with zero regrets.

Amazing people, facility, and operation. Extremely eye opening as they tour you around the facility with open Q&A with employees as the work. After you see the operation you can appreciate and understand their unbelievable quality and attention to detail!

I had ordered a Trooper Double stack with ambidextrous safety, gold bead front sight and their IOS. When I received a call from Scotty Roberts, I was thrilled. Days later, I have taken ownership of the pistol and I was impressed at least. That was until it was inspected and it was found the pistol they made was unsafe. Their gunsmith had over throated the barrel, which can cause the handgun to exploded with +p ammunition. When I was contacted by Nighthawk by Nelson, their COO, he was rude and insulting. He asked if I had financial issues and is that the reason why I wanted a refund and to cancel my other orders. I wanted a refund and to cancel for they made me a unsafe gun, my trust in them is ruined. When they agreed to refund my money and cancel my orders (a week later after inspecting my gun), they told me they would ship the check out that day. Nearly two weeks have gone by and when I called, they had forgotten about it.This gun had passed their "multiple" inspections, and when there were issues, I was insulted. They have poor quality and even worse customer service. If you really want a gun built by them, ask to not have it built by John Kniess. He was the gunsmith that built my firearm

I scheduled a tour at Nighthawk Custom and Had a scheduled time. I was warmly greeted by the staff. Craig introduced himself and took me on the tour. Their Moto is One gun One Gunsmith. I was amazed as to how factual that is! From start to finish Craig explained the process with great detail. The craftsman where friendly and happy to explain their process.

I’m going through a very frustrating experience with Nighthawk and their Italian distributor Cosmi. After a long waiting for a Dominator model with a few customizations, it was finally consigned behind schedule and flawed with the “idiot scratch”.Cosmi first tried to dodge my complaint, stating that they were not responsible for damage caused by the Italian Proof House, but subsequently acknowledged they had to repair it and waited for details about bead-blasting the frame.I am sure they could do it properly, since they are manufacturers of fine rifles, but to do so the handgun has to be previously fully disassembled and – as they themselves declared – they are mere distributor of handguns, having incidentally sold just handful of them, and lack experience about.I therefore asked the pistol to be sent to Berryville, as clearly indicated in the manual (“We suggest that, should the need arise, you will send it back to us for further stripping”), but they refused doing so, notwithstanding they must be very familiar with import/export procedures due to their rifle activities.I therefore asked twice Nighthawk for help, in person of the CEO and owner Mark Stone and international sales manager Scott Larousse, and they did not even deign to give me an answer.Even besides the 7.5 grand I’ve been charged for the pistol, I 'm really astonished by the attitude toward me, that appears unacceptable just in terms of manners & respect, and also in contrast with the principles they declare are guided by.I deeply regret I had to go through Google - whose function I praise - to finally get an answer, along with a refund proposal, that I was not previously offered in spite of my submitting such an option.I do realize how a foreign customer may be way down in Nighthawk's list, as well as the position they have to take in public on their distributor, but the specific issue was not solved satisfactorily. At least, after 15 months, I'll have my (depreciated) money back and I'll just forget the unpleasant experience I lived with Nighthawk, while I turn my attention to the alternatives the national Italian market offers at lower cost with better assistance.

Awesome precision equipment... Work like an Italian or German sports car. Very high-quality work. Can use for tens of thousands of times and it still keeps going.

I saved up some money because I really wanted a Nighthawk Custom. I knew they were a high end pistol. I could never have been prepared for how high the quality was. My Agent 2 is absolutely remarkable. Perfectly accurate, smooth firing and very comfortable. I thought I was spending money on a name and to be honest was ok with that. I refuse to say the gun was expensive. I got a great deal on a superb product. I paid for top notch quality. I am over the top impressed with my firearm. Money well spent.

Just received my third Nighthawk. It a Counselor in Battleworn finish. I'll be putting it into my carry rotation soon. It's almost too pretty to carry, but I most definitely will. Special thanks to Mr. David Atchley for his craftmanship!
