The very best thing you can do for your pet is trust their care to these Dr’s. My two Boston’s love Sarah and all the staff at Berryville Veterinary Clinic. One of mine suffers with terrible allergies and He gets the best care from Sarah. I’m so glad we have this clinic .

My cat has bobcat fever and my local vet was out of the medication. They had the liquid but the cat wont keep it down like the capsules. I reached out to Berryville Vet Clinic and they said my vet would have to forward the file before they could sell the meds. Makes sense. What didn't, was they couldn’t/wouldn’t even tell me if they had it until my vet sent over the files. It’s a 60 mile drive and my vet is also busy. I didn’t want to bother him if they didn’t have it in stock. They obviously were more concerned with $$$ than the cat. I am a pharmacist and have routinely transferred prescriptions to a competitor to take care of my patient. But no need to if the other pharmacy is also out of the med. Seems like common sense.
Enough said. Find another vet!!!!!!
After reading your response, there is no law that says you couldn’t tell me if you had a product in stock before I had my veterinarian send you any documentation.
I gave you both the name of the medication as well as the strength.
When you called me in person you said it was because the office staff didn’t know the difference between the trade name and the generic. They were use to the generic name of the product. You also stated that your vets were in surgery and didn’t have time to answer appropriately.
Being a pharmacist, I understand the office staff may not have the level of knowledge the veterinarian does. Making it a training issue, not a legal issue.
My cat did survive with the help of another vet. Thanks for asking.

Almost ran over a tiny kitten in the middle of a four lane. Snatched her up and took her home. Made an appointment for a check up. They got me right in and were so kind and compassionate to this teeny baby. From the receptionist to the nurse to the vet, I was so happy with their care.

Me and my dog have been coming to Berryville Vet clinic for almost 4 years. We love the staff so much. My dog gets sick quite easily due to her breed and I know I can trust this clinic to take care of my baby. They know who we are by name when we come in and they love my dog just like I do.

Dr Sarah Buchanan is an Angel. My little Riley Mae was not feeling well, after being turned away by 3 clinics in my area I decided to reach farther out. Doc Sarah's office is an hour away from where I live and she had never seen my fur baby before..... BUT SHE OPENED HER OFFICE ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON TO HELP US. I am truly grateful for her help and compassion. Words cannot express how grateful I am. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am very pleased the cost of the emergency visit. Very reasonable price. I can't say it enough, THANK YOU!!! IF YOU NEED A VET FOR YOUR FUR BABY, I 1000% RECOMMEND BVC.
