Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. They got my son back on the trails quickly, and it saved the second half of our trip to Bentonville. They also poured me a free local beer while I waited, how cool is that? I'll be back.

Phat Tire was the first bike shop I visited on my first trip to Bentonville years ago. Everyone there is top-notch.This trip, I hosed my own tubeless tire installation and didn't have time to fix it myself. I also needed a bike because of this.I was able to rent an eMTB on a Friday afternoon and kept it through Monday AND dropped off my wheel so they could fix my screw up.The entire experience, while more than I planned on spending this trip, was a fantastic experience. And you can't knock a free beer while you walk around the shop, wishing you could take another bike home with you.

If you can afford it, I always use them for my biking needs. Great customer service and they always do a great job. I do wish they weren't so expensive though.

Phat Tire's customer service is top notch! They are focused on you having a great experience over selling you products. They have the best brands and are extremely knowledgeable about improving every aspect of riding. Awesome experience!

Ordered a wheel set online, hoping to have them installed when we arrived in Bentonville. Great communication regarding availability, and the service team was able to squeeze us in to transfer over the cassette, rotors and tires. Fantastic experience! The next day, when a rider in our group lost all power in his rear brake, Phat Tire Bike Shop in Bentonville was the only shop to consider.

I rented a bike online and gave them a quick call to answer a few questions. The e-MountainBike (Trek Rail) I rented was ready for me when I got there and worked great. During the week I got a flat, luckily was near the truck we rented and they swapped it for a new tire right away. The only thing I was less than happy with was that I was charged the full price, not a deposit right away (months in advance) Other times I have rented bikes while traveling including another that week I was not charged till I picked up the bike. They did say that if I cancelled within 24 hours I would be refunded, but be aware if you are putting a bike on hold.

Staff went above and beyond to help us figure out how to fix a broken bike. They were helpful, friendly, and quick to get us back out on the trails. Thank you!

Great staff. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent selection in this era of one brand buying out all the smaller shops (though they offer that brand if you want it).

Y'all quickly fixed my bike and got me back on the trail in a timely manner. I need a replacement swing arm and Phat Tire helped get me a crash replacement from trek. They also were very quick about getting me the parts needed and installed. They also replaced some other worn or broken components for a great deal and for a very reasonable service rate. Overall, very pleased. Much better than the last bike shop I frequented.

I was really disappointed in my experience today. I’ve been shopping around for months to make the right purchase for my family. In total I’m looking to buy 3 dual suspension mountain bikes, 1 kids bike, two full-face helmets, and a hitch mounted bike rack for 4+ bikes. Easily I’m looking at anywhere between $8-10K total in gear. Over the past few months I’ve been in a couple times and each time, having a different sales person, I was told with such a larger purchase they’d be willing to work with me on the price of everything. Ultimately I decided to go with Phat Tire, between the offer to deal as well as their blue book trade in program, it just worked best for what I wanted to do. So I went in today, having had my eye on a Santa Cruz Tallboy for the past couple months. Phat Tire is cutting ties with Santa Cruz, and the bike I’ve wanted was marked down. Everything seemed perfect. The bike still hasn’t sold for nearly two months, so I thought this was the perfect time to get it and the other bikes we’d want. I spoke to a salesman, and I cannot say this enough, every salesman I’ve worked with has been amazing. This one was no different today; he was kind, courteous, and helpful. So when I asked him how they could work with me on the prices, he was kind enough to explain he couldn’t guarantee anything himself, but he’d get his store manager to come talk with me. I was there for probably an hour waiting for him, he never approached me, so I took the bike on a test ride. Got back, store manager still wasn’t available. Salesman went to find him, and discovered the manager had left. I waited as long as I could, but eventually had to leave due to the fact I had my youngest with me and had to go feed him lunch. Salesman said he’d talk with the manager on what they could offer, and the manager would call me back later so we could discuss the details. Less than an hour later, I got a call from the salesman (not the manager) who apologized, but said that the manager was unwilling to work with me on anything.Once again, the salesman was great and kind.Ultimately, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Granted, Phat Tire is a great store typically, and I’ll still shop there for things needed here-and-there. But that bike has been sitting there in that shop for nearly 60 days (if not more than that) and has not sold. It’s the end of the season and that bike will continue to depreciate as newer models come out. I planned to make this purchase in cash and continue to plan on it with wherever I end up going. Wherever that ends up being, they’re going to get my business for my larger bike purchase. In the mean time, I have discovered that both Bentonville Bicycle Shop and Mojo are willing to work with me on my cash offer. Additionally, Lewis and Clark Outfitters provides a teachers discount, and I have even found great direct-to-seller bikes that a majority of the local Bentonville shops I called today offered to build for free.I’m sorry we couldn’t make a deal.

The staff took care of our bikes multiple times . They had the parts we needed for our bikes and got us back on the trail in no time. They even took the time to point us toward some great trails to ride while we were in the area. Thanks for all the help and we will be back?

Kevin Caldwell was most helpful in finding the perfect road bike. He was very knowledgeable and shared his experience with different bikes to consider. He also helped me find all the accessories needed to make my biking experience a success. Thanks Kevin and the rest of the team for all your advice. I am a proud owner of a Trek 2023 Demane SL 5 Gen 4 road bike. Just a great experience for a first time bike owner.Mike W

This is my third time going to Phat tire and struggling with the customer service, if that's even what you want to call it. My out-of-state family bought me a $100 gift card from Phat Tire Rogers, which is the same company..I spent 45 minutes in the Bentonville Location trying on shorts and jerseys trying to find one I liked so that I can cash in my gift card .When I got to the counter, the kid told me that even though they were the same company, I would have to drive to the Rogers location and physically pick up a plastic gift card to bring back to them to use. There was no way for them to give me my gift card amount for the merchandise. .What is this 1985????The kid had zero interest in helping me try to figure this out so that I could get my pants never offering any idea or helpful solution .As soon as I spend my family's gift card, I'm done with this bike shop!

Fantastic bike shop. I’d never been to phat tire before but had a pedal that wouldn’t come off and after another shop couldn’t get it off, I tried phat tire and these guys went above and beyond gettin the old pedal off, greasing up my new pedals and sending me on my way a happy customer. Will absolutely be back.
