Great pizza joint. Chicago style was heaping with toppings, great flavor on the sauce and crust. Not a fan of how large the tomatoes were in the sauce. Fun atmosphere.

I have been here twice in the last few months, both times for an adult birthday party. The pizza is great and they offered a good gluten free pizza for my wife. There is something for everyone at Gusano's. They have a billiard table and I played a couple games with my son.

My wife and I love this place. It meets my most important criteria for restaurants: it doesn't feel too crowded and it's not too noisy. I don't know how they achieve this feeling, as there are usually a lot of people there. Crowds and noise make me feel anxious. Gusano's feels comfortable. The food is also great, and the servers are courteous and professional. I would recommend Gusano's to anyone.

Talk about a good pizza.....ordered the Ditka for take out and it was fantastic. Cheesy goodness and a crisp crust. Put simply pizza perfection. The wings? Not so much. They were supposed to come with ranch, but did not, and there was almost no Buffalo sauce. Pizza was a 5 but the wings will be avoided next time.

Got the carnivore craze Wasn't very flavorful. Crust tasted like saltines crackers. Little to no sauce. The sausage tasted like grease covered rubber. Pepperonis had no pep. The pizzadilla tasted like a soggy cheese filled quesadilla. Not worth the price!!! Expected more from this place and would rather order from dominos or papa John's. Definitely over priced for their soggy overpriced bread.

Food was great. Looked nice inside, great for a party or a group dinner where you can chat and visit and not feel awkward or loud. Had a pool table and TVs. The service was amazing. The workers worked with us and accommodated to our needs. We wanted to reserve the back for ourselves and have a team dinner and they worked with us to make it happen and saved us a pool table!

Recently ate lunch there with family, most of us, including myself had a bad experience with their food. I ordered a small regular personal pan pizza, I received a Chicago style, and it was cold, others ordered pizza dip and they said it was burned. It used to be a great place to eat but in the last few months it has gone downhill!! I know it takes forever to get your order, but when it's cold as well, not good!! I won't be going back and neither will my family!!!

We stopped at Gusano's for lunch and I was excited to have the Chicago style pizza. The interior of the building definitely had a Chicago pizza joint feel, and I appreciated the memorabilia (except where are my WHITE SOX being represented??????). When I got over the offense of not seeing any White Sox paraphernalia, I ordered the Chicago style cheese pizza, my daughter ordered the thin crust (she's dead to me) Margherita Pizza and my friend ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Our waitress has been there a long time, was really nice, very helpful and incredibly efficient despite having a lot of tables to serve. Our food came out quickly. The spaghetti and meatballs was tasty enough that my friend ate every last bite (although she is not Chicago, so don't hold me on that one), my daughter's thin crust looked very good and, while my cheese pizza did taste really good, it was a strange, almost soupy dish. The crust went really high above the rest, and so overall it was definitely not a true Chicago pizza. However, it tasted really, really good and I ended up not really caring that it wasn't as authentic as it might have been. Then, I tried a bite of the margherita thin crust pizza and had to re-claim my daughter, because it was insanely good. So, all in all, we really enjoyed our lunch and would definitely go back. However, if you love the White Sox you might help me start a petition to get some representation up in the joint :-)
